The motel was super clean! I loved that there was no carpet in my room. My 2 cats had a great time, too. The first few days, the a/c in my room was great, ice-cold! The motel was quiet & peaceful, even with it being connected to a truck stop.

The a/c stopped working so great. It started going through a cycle of shut down, then start up again. It wasn’t getting as cold, a must with the heat we’ve been having & my own personal preference. It wasn’t blowing strong anymore. I was uncomfortable at night, trying to sleep, but being awakened overheated & sweating. Then the a/c would start up & cool me off. Only to repeat. Really uncomfortable.

The location was clean & quiet, majorly important to me. There were some large bugs outside the building, but never did I see any inside the building or in my room! The staff was friendly & helpful. Cari & Sean especially, made me feel so welcome & important. And Sean likes cats! I had a family tragedy occur during my stay & I was unable to go home to be with my family. Sean was so kind & listened to me vent. I am so grateful for his compassion, empathy & concern. Even though it put him a bit behind, he never rushed me or looked at his watch, even. Such extraordinary kindness!

I stayed for several days. After the first week, my a/c wasn’t as cold or powerful as at first. There wasn’t a maintenance person onsite for a few days, as well. It wasn’t horrible, but it was uncomfortable.

Great location right off the freeway. Near restaurants, fast food, convenience store, travel center. Building was clean, modern. Safe, close parking. Staff was very pleasant, helpful, and friendly. Thanks to Anastasia! Room was clean, modern, well appointed. Looks like all has been recently remodeled/updated. Room had microwave and refrigerator, both worked and clean. Soap and shampoo/conditioner provided. Towels and linens clean. Bed, pillows, couch were very comfortable. No hair dryer in room. No big deal. No in-room coffee, but we didn't care since we don't drink coffee. Yes, ice machine costs 25 cents. But it's just a quarter, so not an issue. Overall very pleasant stay. Just FYI, guy checking in before us got bent because there was no pool or hot tub. But it's a Motel 6. On the Grapevine. Why would you think there'd be pool/spa?

Nothing objectionable at all. Only negative was not hotel's fault at all. Some doofus went out the fire exit at 2AM, setting off the alarm. Staff took care of it in minutes.

The room was clean and the heat worked well. I didn't bring a hair dryer but I was given one at the front desk. I appreciated that. There was coffee in the lobby, which was good because there's none in the room. There are fast food places nearby, within walking distance. The location was perfect for me and the price was reasonable. It was also quiet, no noise from the interstate nearby. The bedcover is thin but I was able to adjust the heat well enough to sleep comfortably.

I wish I knew there wasn't any shampoo. That might have been mentioned in the room description but I guess I assumed otherwise. I was going to pack some but couldn't find a small travel size bottle to use. The tub was clean but there was a dark grey film on the bottom that makes it look dirty. Magic eraser works well to remove that, from my professional experience. The outlet in the bathroom wasn't working and I couldn't connect to the Wi-fi, got a message that the connection wasn't secure and could not get it to connect, so I had to use my phone's hot spot. That was disappointing.

The location was where I needed it to be for our trip. The price was very fair, especially for what the place had to offer.

The room was pretty cheap, so I didn't really expect much. I wouldn't say I disliked anything about the place. I'm pretty tall, so I always wish these places had higher shower heads, but that's pretty much every hotel room everywhere.

This location is perfect for a last minute decision to stay on the grapevine. The staff is nice, it’s near food, parking is safe. I’d stay there again.

Kenny at the front desk is very welcoming! Room was clean and comfortable.

Our room was close to the (noisy echo-y) reception desk and people talking late at night made it hard to sleep. Grounds workers right outside our window running a noisy leaf blower at 8am woke us up.

It is Motel 6 so I wasnt expecting much. Just needed to crash on my way to LA. The bed was so comfortable..I think it had a foam mattress. They had Direct TV and HBO movies and a fridge. That was unexpected but really nice. Was a great place to sleep for the price. Guy at the front desk was very nice.

Based on what I paid for, this motel was a great value. I visited this motel twice during two road trips to San Diego. It was a great resting point without getting tired of driving. The staff was nice and the place was clean.

Wish we could have liquid/foam soup vice bar soap. Facility is old fashioned but nonetheless great value.

We liked that we could park our vehicle right outside our window so that we could keep an eye on it..mainly because we left the bulk of our luggage in the car and only took our essentials in the room. The lady at the front desk is a sweetheart.

The soda machine was out of order, I do know that this hotel was goin through a remodel which should have been mentioned cause the room was missing a few things you normally would see in a hotel room ie; lamps by the beds and I don’t recall if there was a microwave.
