Very upscale decor, very comfortable bed, very big bathroom with both a tub and shower.

That area of Wilshire Blvd has a lot of homeless encampments on the sidewalk, which my daughter and I had to walk past on our way to museum. Hardly the hotel's fault, just the reality of things in LA.

The location is very convenient for the Petersen and Academy museums. Our room had a patio and I would recommend that over the higher rooms that may have a view but no balcony. The upstairs restaurant has a great view and it's good especially for breakfast. Comfy beds and quiet rooms. Very friendly personnel.

Dining options are somewhat limited nearby; most are fast food options.

The room setup was nice, the patio onto the room gave lots of room. Didn't even use the patio much. Hallways always smelled like flowers. Rooftop restaurant was beautiful and amazing service all over hotel.

You pay for your great location, so it was a bit pricey. There is always an extra line to add tip for LA restaurants like this one,but close to 20% is always already charged, not obvious in the bill. So often you unknowingly add more tip. Lucky a server circled the included tip part to show us, or we wouldn't have realized as early as we did.

My family and I had an excellent stay at the Kimpton Wilshire. We've stayed there many times in the past, but this was the best. Everything was in perfect working order, and there were no issues. No real noise or disturbances, although in the past, they occasional had private, rooftop events that can be extremely loud.

Very dog friendly. That one fact was the deciding reason for staying here. The location was within walking distance of the building in which we had an interview for our visas. The neighborhood behind the hotel was beautiful & provided wonderful walks for our dog. Rooftop restaurant is a nice setting. Valet parking is very convenient though somewhat expensive ($45/night). Easy walk (12 minutes) to 3d street restaurants. Staff very friendly & helpful; they provided contact lens solution when I forgot mine.

The entrance is somewhat obscured from Wilshire Blvd. Once around the block to find the garage entrance. Rooftop pool is very small & shallow; not suitable for swimming.

Clean, great amenities, staff were lovely and the rooms are very comfortable. Food on the rooftop was very adequate! We loved it all. Great quiet location!

Everything was great - nil concerns. Maybe just the other people staying there that were rude to the staff. Staff managed this extremely well.

Loved the view and the rooftop restaurant. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Plus one could open the windows for fresh air.

Communication during the testing of the fire alarm system particularly with the confusion about the use of the elevator.

Property had a very comfortable bed Great showers Amazing food at the roof top restaurant. Ate there for dinner and it was incredible. Highly recommend the shrimp with hummus and the arugula salad. Location was great

A cute boutique hotel in a good location for exploring LA, Bev Hills, Melrose, West Hollywood shopping and dinning. We were able to tour it all in the one day we had. Rooms were nice, not huge but cute, clean modern and functional. There is a stocked fridge and fun snacks, but we had our own. We got one of the patio rooms which was cool, but had too much sight seeing so we didn't really use it. The coffee bar was great! Nespresso's and good drip coffee and quality tea/s and a cold brew keg. I made sure i got coffee there each morning. Popcorn and water in the chic lobby. Valet staff was on the ball and super friendly. Everyone was helpful. I would definitely stay again!

The shower had a major drip and the valve handle didn't work. They are aware of this as it has a plaque at the shower stating not to force the handle. We took one shower and the head dripped all day... and not just a drip, a stream. The did send engineering to fix but we checked out at that point. This would be my only negative... This hotel was a great little find.
