Great value for money in LA, easy access to metro system and fairly safe area for travellers. Glad we got the private 2 bed bunk room.

Not a hostel that you’d meet people, I prefer hostels that are reserved for tourists only - this one seemed to have LA residents that just wanted a cheap nights accomodation/shower ://

it was easy to access the bus to get around LA from this place. James the owner communicated well and provided instructions (make sure you have access to a mobile phone in the US) and was able to answer questions fairly quickly. the other boarders at this place were generally quite friendly and well behaved. the place is kept decently clean by the hardworking cleaners. the house is quite nice and the neighbourhood is very safe and quiet. good value for money.

there are more long term American boarders staying here than travellers but that was OK. the shared bathrooms are always occupied during the mornings. if you had any questions about LA there was no staff to ask but you could ask the boarders, so you need to be independent if you are staying here.

I really love this hostel! It's a great location in Korea Town with lots of nice nearby stores and restaurants. I got a vape for $5 and some delicious food. Also, the club Catch One is in walking distance although I skipped club night because I found my bed to be comfortable. I love that they have all girls dorms (that's where I stayed) and there is a smoking patio, guests only, as well as a kitchen. The cleaning lady was super nice and let me have a towel although I didn't have $2 exactly she let me have it and pay the next day so I could shower. I usually travel with my gym towel but I forgot. Also, there is a restroom with shower as well as mini fridge inside the girls room which is really great for privacy.

I love that there is a girl's dorm but the room is a little cramped. At least there is a socket by the bed to charge your phone but there isn't much wiggle room.

I stay in an all women’s room with my niece. Every bunkbed has outlets to charge your phone and lockers to keep items safe. (You’ll need to bring your own lock) Shared home with travelers and permanent residence. Everyone was kind and helpful. Some people kept to themselves. No one bothered our belongings or food that was in the fridge. House keeping cleaned bathrooms/ kitchen etc everyday. Shared Private parking with fee but very convenient since everyone takes up the street parking. Spacious and clean. My niece and I had a wonderful 2 night stay for a great price and had great connection with everyone.

The mattress could be thicker.

The area is nice and safe, the hostel looks nice and clean, it has lockers in the bedrooms, a kitchen and also mini friges in the rooms. I liked that the room had a private bathroom separate from the shared ones with all the other guests, felt more private and cleaner.

I stayed in an all female room which I definitely recommend because some of the guests that were in the mixed or male dorms looked quite sketchy to say the least so I didn't feel that comfortable in the shared areas, but felt safe and comfortable in my room

Very good location near tourist spots for a good price. Hostel was clean, free parking was available on the street (just pay attention to the signs and rules) or for $10 per night right in front of the hostel. The kitchen was equipped, we even had a refrigerator in the room. The only thing that "bothered" us was just one bathroom on the floor, which took a long time to get in.

The cleanliness, the staff,and most of the guests were cool.Housekeeping around the clock.Near facilities and transit.Secure rooms and areas. And available washer and dryer l.Well maintained grounds,kitchen,and conditions of the rooms especially bathrooms.James the owner I happened to meet on the way out was cool.

The table and chairs in dining could have been a bit more comfortable and overflow of the fridge.

Owner was accommodating, whole hostel was clean and it was nice having bathrooms inside the rooms as well as extra ones outside. The location is just a few minutes walk from lots of restaurants in Koreatown and there are several bus stops nearby. Price was reasonable, other guests were nice and clean, cleaners were efficient and friendly. I would stay here again.

Wifi was out because of the IT shortage It would be nice to have a detachable shower head and curtains around the beds

The house was very clean and tidy. It was very close to everywhere. If I go to Los Angeles again, I will definitely come here again.

The people in the room were a little unstable. If you went to the bathroom at night, they were talking constantly. Also, someone was constantly turning on the computer and opening the window. Los Angeles is very cold at night.

Cleanes, comfort, the room was spacious and immaculately clean. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi. Perfect location with easy walking distance to the local transport. Not far from major attraction museum and Santa Monica beach 😎.
