I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn Express Oakdale, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and eager to assist with anything we needed. Their professionalism and friendliness made a lasting impression. The hotel itself was impeccably clean. Every corner—from the lobby to the guest rooms—was maintained to the highest standards, creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere. Our room was spotless, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. Another standout feature was the attention to detail. Whether it was the thoughtful amenities, well-kept common areas, or the seamless check-in and check-out process, every aspect of our stay was handled with care. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express Oakdale to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. we will definitely be returning!

The night traffic inside the hotel was noisy. Lots of people coming and going within the hotel and doors closing all night

A lady at the front was super friendly! She told me her name but I'm so sorry that I forgot. She help me with smooth check-in, brought us plastic utensils, and helped our finding TV channel that we were looking for. We dropped by Oakdale cause we got physically exhausted on our way back to SF from Yosemite, and we are happy that we happened to find this hidden gem. I read good reviews about the breakfast, but we are so sorry that we couldn't try it cause we were running late to return our rental car in SF. Squeaky clean and quiet. Free parking and EV charging station were another big plus for us.

Clean and very nice. It’s an older property but due to the renovations you could not tell it was an older property.

All the staff were very nice, from housekeeping to the front desk. Being that we checked in late, the night auditor checked us into the hotel. He was very nice as well, but the only thing is, when looking for water after traveling for so long. Instead of offering me two complimentary bottled like they do in the earlier shifts, he just pointed out the vending machines which were at the other end of the hotel.

The lady that checked us in was very nice and friendly. Also very helpful.

The breakfast was not very good. The eggs were rubbery. The sausage was cold and didn’t taste very good. The machine made pancakes were not good either. There could have been more variety. Instead of having two kinds of sausage, bacon would’ve been nice.

The breakfast was delicious! A lot of food options and it was clean. The rooms were modern and very clean. I loved the beds, not too firm, but I also didn’t sink in. I also loved the Dove brand shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand soap. It smelled great. The staff was also very friendly.

Air conditioner made loud noises turning on and off… couldn’t open window to take advantage of cooler night air.

The rooms were clean. The beds were okay. The pillows were comfortable.

It was very easy to hear people in the hall and other rooms. Even if they weren't really close to our door, you could hear their conversations.

The woman at the reception was absolutely fantastic both checking in and checking out.

It seems like nowadays hotel prices are crazy high. But that’s not personally about your hotel.

The location was very convenient.

I did not care for non carpeted floors. I thought the price was high for it being a Holiday Inn Express.

Very kind desk clerk, clean and well-designed facilities, though pretty routine. Good bed.

Air conditioner, necessary in the California central valley in May, was noisy when cycling off. Breakfast was pretty bad, not unexpectedly.
