The breakfast was outstanding. I think the attendant's name was Sue. She was very friendly and attentive. She made sure my dad had a comfortable chair and got him his juice/coffee. 😊 We also loved the ADA bathroom. My father is 91 with mobility issues. The bathroom was one of the best we have had!

It would have been nice if the California weather cooperated. Thursday was warm and beautiful. Friday was extremely heavy winds. Saturday was heavy rains. Sunday started looking better... maybe because we were going home. LOL

Location. About half way between Ashland, OR and Oceanside, CA. The motel is adjacent to Love's truck plaza. Early morning rig operators can get you started before dawn. The room was clean and comfortable. A bit dated. Small toilets. Large TV. Second floor room was quiet enough and avoids heavy footed guests overhead. A 10% discount at The Pea Soup restaurant next door. Easy parking.

Nothing to report. It is a no frills hotel that is clean and comfortable.

Best Western hotels keep a reasonable balance between nicer amenities and cost. They are usually clean, reputable, well run and don't break the bank.This one, in Santa Nella was quite nice. A shout out to Susan, who was staffing the breakfast. She was very friendly and we had a lively chat.

The check in staff didn't give me the wifi code and it wasn't written on the room cardkey cover, either. It was dark when I drove in and difficult to locate the front office.. I had to back out of two other adjoining lots before I found the front portico. The hotel could use more lighted signage on the drive in to the property and over the front entrance. Also due to poor lighting, it was impossible to see room numbers from the car as I searched for my room.

I've been looking for a good stopping point between Redding and Orange County for a long time, and this fits the bill perfectly! Easy to access right off the I-5, clean, not to expensive, free breakfast, and right next to a full-service restaurant. The room was very spacious and the wifi worked well. Free breakfast had more options than I thought, which was a nice bonus.

Can be a bit loud, being right next to the highway, but otherwise no issues.

No big deal but the sitting outside by the pool area, we noticed tree and plant trimmings all over. Could have been windy before we arrived.

I was not fond of sleeping in a room that had pets previously there. There were many spots on the floor from pets using the restroom on the carpets, but other than that the room was comfortable.

Have wanted to stay here since I was a kid and I'm pleased to say it was worth the decades it took!! Our room was huge and very comfortable with a sliding door leading out to the Garden area and Pool! A short walk across the Courtyard was the BEST Breakfast We've had anywhere in the past year plus of traveling! Will definitely stay here again if We get the chance!

That We didn't stay longer so We could eat at the Famous Andersen restaurant for a bowl of Split Pea Soup.

Breakfast (a couple yogurts and a couple sausage links) was fine. The room was nice and the design (facing away from the freeway) was much appreciated. I didn't realize ahead of time that it was right next to Andersen's Pea Soup, which was a plus.

The address was confusing (Santa Nella? Gustine?) but that's not their fault.

Room was quiet and clean.

Breakfast was watery eggs that were too salty to eat. Would skip the breakfast option next time. The room was comfortable and updated, but the outside deck felt like it could collapse at anytime.

Great price, comfy bed, nice room, great location. We really want to give them a shout out for the gluten free breakfast items. My husband has celiac and rarely can he eat hotel breakfasts. The staff went out of their way to make sure he had a gluten free breakfast. We will definitely stay here again when traveling.

The only con I have is the room was a little dark. The lighting could be a little better.
