Been staying here for years. Was always quiet, relaxing, my family loves fishing right on the little dock there. Hotel has really gone down hill in the last few years.

Hotel is full, 40+ rooms of FEMA tenants. Our vehicle was hit & run while parked in lot by tenant of hotel. Police came and plate on vehicle didn’t match vehicle nor was vehicle registered at hotel although maintenance & other guests confirmed they’ve been there for weeks/months. Police did nothing. Dock is starting to get run down, lighting no longer works, wood starting to rot. Beds were most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in. Like sleeping on wood. Sadly, we will not return.

Front desk staff was very nice and I enjoyed talking to her while I was checking in and each time I would pass by the front desk walking in or outside. She was friendly and I appreciated that after over 20 hours of driving.

Only had one problem...Breakfast started at 0600. I packed everything out of my room and left my keycard on the dresser and loaded everything into my truck and went back to get breakfast. Front door was supposed to be open without a card after 0600 and I was unable to go back in to grab some food on my way to work. I'm sure this was an isolated problem or an oversight on the staff's part so I won't knock them for the inconvenience.

Breakfast was complimentary, the Location was nice, the Personal was super friendly. The Rooms were clean, AC was perfect working. Parking was also available. There should be coffee and Tea available 24 Hours, at 6pm, it wasnt... but who is drinking Coffee at this time, isnt it :-)

The pool is not big, though the location is nice, in front of the harbor. Some guys had there already more then one adult beverages, and was there making party. The beach is small but lovely. The Housekeeping could be a bit more attentive, no Soap in the dispenser in the shower, the carpets in the halls, could be washed, in one room the blow-dryer was missing

We were just staying for 1 night on out way home so not a lot of time to explore the area . The hotel is in a great location for that area- there are several restaurants nearby, it is waterfront on the Inlet. I love the private dock. The hotel was clean and the staff at the front desk was very nice.

The property looks old, the bathrooms look like 1970 and could use updating. We had trouble with TV remote only working intermittently. Needs more comfortable pillows. The breakfast bar was nice but they started breaking it down at 9:45 (it was to be open until 10:00) . We were checking out that day so packed our stuff before heading down at 9:45 figuring we could grab some food then sit by the pool to eat and found very little left.

This was my seventh straight year of taking some vacation time at this hotel and visiting family I have in the area. My first four stays were great. The next two had issues involving room keys, housekeeping and the pool and jacuzzi area in the back. I still liked this hotel and decided to come back. I had another great stay just like the first four. They obviously listened when I brought these issues up in my last two reviews. The problems have clearly been fixed. As always, I love relaxing out on the dock and the beach at night out back, The water temperature in the pool was the best it ever was since I have been coming here, the hotel was as usual quiet when it's supposed to be. The hotel is in an excellent location as there are plenty of beaches, parks and good places to eat nearby. I had a very nice relaxing stay here just like I use to. Like I have said in the past, you know you had a great stay when you hate the fact that your checkout time is approaching. If all goes well, I hope to return again next winter as I really enjoyed this stay as this hotel made a nice comeback for me by fixing the problems of the past.

No problems, As I said, the issues have been taken care of.

The view was perfect. The staff was kind and one new employee was training a new front desk gentleman and she was very very good at her verbal communication skills . They were both friendly.

The couch was very dirty. We didn't sit on it...but the bed was nice and clean. The sliding door was so broken and spackle was thick from someone trying to fix some issues once. I hate doing bad review words but... it's a great place..so fix those things and change the dirty dingy shower curtains. Just a thought because it's a great place.

I'm not sure why (I've stayed here many times before) but my room was upgraded to a "water view" which was great! They added bacon and eggs to the breakfast which was great as well! The location is excellent as it is within walking distance of several bar/restaurants with outside seating. I will definitely be back when I want to visit Hutchinson Island again.

Aside from the weather which, of course, has nothing to do with the facility, I don't like that they have installed soap dispensers at the sink as well as for the shower. They no longer provide soap of any kind just for your personal use. I may be wrong but I feel this is unsanitary. It is messy as well; several large spots on the shower wall were just beneath the dispenser revealing that the shower was not thoroughly cleaned.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Like the convenience of being on the beach and having the pool right there. The free breakfast was good.

Room was updated but not the bathroom, but the floors were disgusting walking around with no shoes or feet were black. The hallways smelled like smoke and the carpets and walls need to be updated. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable that just for that reason. Probably would not be back.

Perfect location, direct beach and pool access

Breakfast buffet is great but a lot of litter as everything is disposable plates and cutlery and cups. But this is the case in many Hotels in Florida. From an environmental perspective I prefer to generate less litter by using normal glasses, cups , plates and cutlery. But might be a cost factor but not very sustainable - I hope all hotels in Florida become more sustainable - but it hasn't changed for many decades.

The staff was exceptional. We stayed midweek for one night and were able to get an upgraded room with an amazing view with A porch that overlooked the water! It was too cold to go swimming in the pool or on the private beach, but we took full advantage of the hot tub!

Original room on the first floor would have had a view of the parking lot. My answers are based on the upgraded room.
