I book this place for my mom every time she comes to town to see the grandkids… and I always feel confident that she’ll be in a safe, welcoming and clean environment. The owners are super friendly and accommodating and I was very impressed that they did not hike up prices after the hurricanes like so many of their local competitors. It proves that they are good people and not out to take advantage of anyone. I will always only book for family to stay at Royal Inn when they come to Perry for a visit!

Everything. Good hot water in the shower, refrigerator and microwave worked well, clean and comfortable room, bed mattress comfortable, ice machine access, friendly and helpful hotelier, near restaurants and gas station.

This wasn't a big problem but the heater was a little loud because although the low speed option appeared on the control panel, it was not an option that I could select. It might have been just that room. It was nice to have good heat but I just wish the low speed option was available. Other than that it was a good stay and I would recommend this motel if in the area.

The motel is the classic mom ‘n pop style motel of the 80’s before most of them became meth motels. The motel doesn’t have any frills, but it was clean, comfortable, safe, and had all the essentials for a cheap and short stay. The manager was very friendly and I saw him later when I was getting ice and he checked in to make sure everything was ok with my room. The bed was comfortable, the room was fairly large, and everything was clean. The floors were updated and the rest of the room, bathroom, and furniture was somewhat dated, but in good condition. As a woman traveling alone, it was a great place to stay and I will be in the area quite often, so it will be my 1st choice to stay in the future.

The only things missing from the room that would have been nice to have is a coffee pot and iron/ironing board. Other than that, I had everything I needed. It’s a small town and I left out early in the morning so the office wasn’t open, which does have coffee, and there wasn’t a convenience store nearby that was open at that time. There was a fairly large gap under the front door and I’m scared of snakes lol, so I just put a towel in front of the gap and it was fine.

The room was very clean, the bath, sink and shower were very clean, floors very clean, nice a/c for hot days, desk with chair was available, nice tv for viewing, bed was quality mattress no insects or bugs. The grounds were clean with no cigs left behind on ground. This proper;ty is certainly owned by people who have PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP. If you are pulling a boat or a plane, they seem to be able to accomadate your parking needs. I will never stay at anyother place in Perry as long as this place keeps these standards.

For a budget motel, the room was amazing! Very spacious, spotlessly clean, beautiful comfortable bed, plenty of pillows and lovely snowy white top quality linen and towels. After meeting the owner and his wife, who run the place and maintain it themselves, this was no surprise. They are very committed to hospitality, quality and a good stay for everyone. Lovely people and probably the best budget motel we've come across.

Very appreciative of the staff/ownership being so helpful in making sure we were comfortable upon check-in. Was grateful to find a small microwave and refrigerator. Plenty of room to spread out, relax and make yourself at home! Will probably stay again on our next trip to Perry!

We knew in front that the facility was older and that was okay. I found the mattress a little hard, but in all fairness, I like a little gentler feeling for my older bones! Would have liked a rubber bathmat for the tub, but I neglected to ask. Still, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Manager/owner was very attentive. A/C should be a minisplit for the cost and better bedding. (At least a blanket between the sheet and thin bedcover) great place and was a blessing to find a place in that area. Great place for weary travelers.

The owner was so friendly accommodating. Although the motel itself has seen several owners over the years, he has done a wonderful job bringing the Royal Inn back from near extinction. The rooms are sparkling clean and the beds are the most comfortable motel beds I've slept in in years while on the road. Keep up the good work and thank you for all you do!

A towel bar over the commode would have been good.

On arrival the very friendly staff took care of my reservation and gave us a room on the shady side of the motel. There was not a breakfast at this location. The room was spacious,clean and comfortable. The location was close to many food options. I would recommend this motel to anyone traveling through Perry FL for any length of stay.

Even though it's an older motel, it was very clean, updated amenities, and the beds were very comfortable and had no stains once so ever . Clean linens and carpet were even clean like new to walk on, and we all know that it's self can be a bad one ... security cameras no no rifraf or lordering... I give it a 9 very comfy an impressed 👌 😎 I'll definitely be back! Owner is super nice as well ......
