The room was huge, and I loved having a portable makeup mirror as the lighting in the bathroom wasn't great. Also, loved having the sink outside of the shower/toilet room. It was a great venue for a wedding party--they were able to put all the bridesmaids in four rooms grouped together and the bride's room was spacious enough for everyone to hang out in. The breakfast was good, and the staff very pleasant. Apparently this hotel has undergone major renovations and all the locals raved about the improvements.

All staff were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you especially to Victoria and Sheila. Enjoyed the breakfast. Only complaint is that you can hear people’s upstairs activity. Front desk was happy to offer a solution and move us to a different room, but those people were checking out that morning anyway. Otherwise, a very friendly, conveniently located place to stay.

Beautiful property. We had room with 2 king beds and the room was huge with a fireplace! No microwave or fridge but we didn’t need them. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was buffet and tasted great.

Construction of some type right out our window starting before 7 am. Lots of continuous loud pounding that woke us all. Hopefully the construction projects won’t last long. In the meantime, maybe they should start quite so early.

The recently remodeled hotel is a significant departure from its previous look. It’s clean and modern but still warm and inviting. Our original room was a bit small, but we were able to upgrade to a studio suite with no problems. Jamie at the front desk was awesome!

There was some construction debris in the stairwell that was there during our entire stay.

Super helpful staff. The room was very spacious and nice room. Fitness center was excellent.

Check in was a little rough. Booked on a third party site and the room type I selected and paid for was overbooked. Clerk was unable to change the room to a different type and had to call her manager to come in. Manager came in from home, but had to call the help desk to resolve the issue. She did upgrade our room to a suite to make up for the hour it took to check in, so overall satisfied.

Location is fantastic, totally walkable for anything you might need. The reservoir is a short and pretty drive.

Nothing much to not like, just a bit spendy and housekeeping is working on dotting all the I’s and crossing all the T’s. I was in 2 different rooms (avails the ones by the elevator!!) and there was a couple things missed each time but my impression was they were short staffed and working on things.

No fridges or microwaves in rooms. Also was running a few minutes late and they were calling rooms telling us we were late. It was 11:05, and we were trying to get out the door

the rooms seem to be updated and loved that our room had soaker tub and fireplace.

rooms need mini fridges for families needing to store for milk and other kids items. Also maybe access to more microwaves in their under the stairs pantry when selling frozen foods that take 10 mins to cook you end up waiting a while. Cascade shuts down pretty early that we were not expecting when we got back from McCall and had to get things to cook in microwave which others were having to do as well. Also had to wait 15-20 mins to eat breakfast as they didn't set up extra tables and chairs for a fully booked weekend. Hard to wait when you have hungry kids who want to eat. But it was nice to have since there is not many places to go in cascade.

Newly refreshed/remodeled. Despite a small issue at check-in with the bookings.com reservation, ( couldn’t connect to the system online )the staff was excellent and quickly worked with us to get us in our room. Internet speed was pretty good, got 70+ Mbs d/l 20+ u/l. No noticeable issues streaming on an iPad.

Absolutely nothing that would prevent us from staying here again but here are some observations . Having stayed in the Ashley Inn numerous times over the years, it was kind of sad to see the Victorian and constant Christmas decor change. The hotel is currently under remodel, we were on the 3rd floor and heard nothing from the remodeling and only saw a few workers and heard nothing as far as construction noise. Its a relatively minor inconvenience and the workers were polite the few interactions we did have with them. ( see them in a hallway going through the front door etc. ) Pool is still being remodeled, but that was expected as there were issues with it needing major work from over a year ago. Looks to be a nice pool area when complete.

Rooms were very clean, facilities looked nice. Indoor pool was a bonus for sure. I was pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included (I'm male, don't read everything.

Can't give anything. I though they did a good job with this hotel.
