The man in the office was SO nice. Very friendly. Very quick and easy check in process. He even reminded me to turn the a/c on before I left the room for the afternoon so it would be cool when I got back. Coffee, tea, and hot chocoolate in the office in the morning. Everything was clean. The sheets even SMELLED clean like laundry soap, I loved that. The bathroom area appeared to be renovated and it was really nice. Great little nostalgic motel.

The mattress was soft but it did feel like it was teetering on the bed. The TV was just static didn't have any channels and I wasn't going to bother the office with that at 2am when I tried watching. The AC did a great job cooling the little "room" it was in but it didn't push the air fully into the area with the beds so it did get a little warm in there at night. The rooms could use renovation but it does appear they're working on that.

I like the handy location since I am not in town to hang out by the freeway. What I also wanted - and got - was easy access to my room, where I could park just outside the door. I was pleased by the cleanliness, and cheerful greetings from staff whenever I met them. There were plentiful drawers. Brighter lighting in the main room made it easier to get work done. A microwave and apartment sized refrigerator were handy. I liked the very nice modern sink. Best of all, during an Idaho heatwave, an effective air conditioner - this also provided white noise so I didn't hear the train or neighbors.

No handicapped room was available and the air conditioner controls were too high for ease of seeing what I was doing. Happily, I was still able to maintain a comfortable room. The mattress was firmer than I like and a little tall for my short legs. I am familiar with this motel. I know it is near the railroad tracks and is an old facility and attracts poorer guests so this didn't put me off. I have never felt unsafe there.

The owners were great, room was comfortable. Location was in an older part of town and Motel is going through a remodel. Rooms were very clean.

The Motel looks like an old building needs painting but owners explained they were in the middle of remodeling the rooms first and then going to work on the outside. The price matches the motel but the hospitality makes it all worth while.

I was a little skeptical about booking this place because it was much cheaper than the other sites in Mountain Home. However, the room was nice and the bathroom was great. This is an older, more rustic motel that still uses metal keys to enter the rooms. I found a TV station that was commercial free and left it on all night. I enjoyed the stay

There was no breakfast but there was coffee and chocolate and that was nice. The manager was very helpful and friendly. I had a restful night there and checkout was easy. Sadly the restaurant on the sign isn't there so we walked about half a mile to Pizza Hut and had a delicious pizza.

Very helpful friendly owner/manager. Vintage look made it feel comfy like staying at grandma’s. Great price !!! Nice hot water and pressure!! Super fun vintage tub!!! Bed and pillows were comfortable!!

The TV channels were all fuzzy and I had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi but we didn’t come to be entertained so I didn’t really pursue the problem… maybe a fix.

Comfortable, quiet, friendly staff

Just about everything was at least slightly broken. Most everything still worked, just not as well as it was supposed to.

Availability of rooms for both going to my destination and then coming home.

Parking was difficult but they did have on street and alley parking which was not readily seen.

Quiet, warm and comfortable. Check in was all of 2 minutes (that includes my trip back to the office for wifi login which just happened be in my hand while I asked..duh) Great coffee on checkout, would absolutely stay again.

It's not beautiful, old 60's motel but huge room & clean. Seems like they care. Kinda neat in a charming old school way. Very nice staff. I wish all the cheaper motels were like that one.

Nice big TV, but very little channel selection. Some kind of basic pkg would be nice, but they're all starting to lack that these days.
