We were pleased with the smooth and efficient check-in process, the secure key-less entry, the fresh and clean smell upon entering, the functioning appliances, and the fresh, clean, comfortable beds. We also appreciated having the convenience store nearby with a microwave and fridge in the room.

We discovered someone else's leftovers in the fridge.

Quiet, clean, comfortable, easy to find, no stairs, excellent restaurant nearby (Sue's Kitchen at The Embers), everything you need for a pleasant overnight stay.

Very clean, comfortable place to stop for the night while on a road trip. Staff were very helpful, bed was comfortable, everything clean and neat.

Checking in was simple! The owner was unavailable at the time, but they made the check in process easy and we're very accommodating. It was 94 degrees out the woman left in charge was very courteous, was walking towards the front desk to getter us with a key before we could get out of our vehicle! We were able to get into a room right away, out of the great with our son and pay upon the owners returning. Definitely Cowan and quiet. Comfortable and easy access to Caseys gas station right next door and super foods grocery across the street. Quick access to the highway upon leaving. The owners were kind smiley individuals to their guest during our stay and made sure we were satisfied with our stay upon leaving. It's really how every hotel/ motel should operate!

The age of the facilities is irrelevant because of how generally clean everything is and because of the friendliness and kindness of the staff. Also the location is great: convenient to the highway, but safe and clean. Also, Avoca is a little undiscovered gem. If you're road tripping, instead of staying in Omaha, stay here and explore this quaint little town.

The only thing to not possibly like is that it feels older. There are some signs of age, which is why I gave it 9 instead of ten. There were a couple things that could have been cleaned better, but no deal breakers.

staff was great, easy check in, doing lot of work to fix up, planting flowers, bed was good, water hot. close to exit on 80

Location was key. Park right near the room. Warm and cool temperatures inside were working well too!

Bed was hard. Had to take room key back to office every night to be refreshed. Shower wasn't real strong flow but was ok.
