Good location, great value, room had all amenities I expected, except . . .

The room initially assigned, #29, had functioning AC on the first night, but I couldn't get it working on 2nd night. To their credit, when I brought this to management's attention, they switched me to another room with functioning AC, so I was able to eventually get a good night's sleep.

Location was next to Dorothy’s House/Land of Oz. It’s cute. The rooms are just right. The managers are sooooo nice, friendly & warm. Of this specific road trip of which I stayed at several motels, the beds and pillows were the most comfortable. Honestly the beds are wonderful, very high quality. TV/cable worked great. Also the nighttime outside lighting was real good, very secure.

I really liked the property. We had trouble turning on A/C, but once we figured it out, it worked fine.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. We were just looking for a place to get a good night's sleep on a long two day journey.

Internet signal was poor and I kept getting disconnected. I ended up using my phone's hotspot to check my email.

The room was extremely clean. Beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly. We don't stay in luxury hotels when we travel but we do want our motels to be clean and the beds to be comfortable. Staff was friendly and kind, room was very clean and pretty spacious, bed was comfortable. The proprietor gave us a coupon for Pancake House across the street, which was yummy!

Great, personable staff. Rooms a little outdated, but very clean. Matresses were new and extremely comfortable. Slept like a log, which was just what I needed to gear up for a second long day of driving :)

We have stayed multiple times at the South Wind Inn. It is an excellent value, location is good, room is always clean, and the beds comfortable. It has been the perfect pit stop as we travel.

What a "bang for your buck" place to stay. Not fancy, but clean rooms and very friendly staff. Would stay here again!

We were on a road trip to Connecticut and needed a place to stay. We checked in super late and checked out super early but the manager was great. Both times he was friendly and welcoming. It is an older hotel but it was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. That is a bonus for me. The price was great too especially because we were only there for 7 hours.

It was comfortable and very clean. Nothing fancy but spacious enough. Everything worked just fine. Price was right, too.
