The staff took exceedingly good care of me. They realized I was travelling alone and moved me close to the office for extra comfort and safety. The breakfast was outstanding home cooked food, definately not a 'continental' breakfast. The room was super clean and updated.

You can't judge a book from its cover. When I drove up in the middle of the night, I wondered what I'd done because it looked, in the dark, like an old motel from the movies. I was so relieved when I walked into the nice room and was taken such care of by the staff. I'll definitely stay there again when travelling through.

A peaceful, well maintained property with nice staff! We were Amazed at how clean our room was . The layout and design of our king room was tasteful and simple with a microwave and good size refrigerator for a motel room, and plenty of places to set down our luggage and other items. They had power outlets in all the right places and nice large nightstands. The shower pressure and water temperature were excellent as well. There was a nice large leather chair with a footstool. The tv had great picture! The internet was faster than most chain hotels! We felt comfortable and safe during our short one night stay, and it was a great experience waking up refreshed and viewing the lovely Kansas countryside. We hope to stay again when passing through and would probably go out of our way to do so… Highly Recommend giving this place your business!

The bad was just a little on the firm side, but really not bad overall, plenty of pillows.

The place is cute and quaint with every comfort. The owners obviously take pride in the property and the staff is also very professional. The breakfast is beyond expectations. There is outdoor space to enjoy, even a nice pool. Everything is superbly maintained. The bathroom was very nice and everything super clean. They have thought of everything, including a flashlight on the room key and a rag provided for use. We loved staying there and recommend it highly.

I would have liked a lamp on the desk. The room was dark.

We have been traveling for nearly two years. This is one of those special motels that are hard to stumble upon. The breakfast was homemade and is the best breakfast me and my husband have encountered during our travels. The room was perfect and clean. The pool is crystal clear, and the staff are friendlier and more helpful than the most expensive stays. The price is super fair and super affordable. When we travel through Kansas again, this will be one of our stay overs every time!!!

The building and grounds very clean. Room very clean and decorated homey. Even a quilt on the bed. I walked on floors in white socks and they never looked dirty. Plenty of toiletries and towels available. Guide with TV channels. Very helpful staff. Breakfast is amazing with even homemade casseroles. Oatmeal with several toppings, waffles, homemade biscuits & gravy, cereal and more. Breakfast area was attended to very well by friendly, talkative staff. She kept it full and very clean. Everyone seemed like they really enjoy working there and making guests feel comfortable. It was a very pleasant stay after a long trip. The only negative was the cattle lots near by with the smell outside. Thankfully, the smell stayed oitside. I am accused of being very picky and I highly recommend this motel!

This location was perfect for my trip from Indianna to Colorado Springs. I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms were a good size and very clean. The staff were wonderful. A great surprise was the breakfast: egg cassarole, biscuits and gravy, breakfast meat and great coffee. There were other options but I really enjoyed the egg cassarole. I would definitely stay here again. I didn't have my dog this time, but would bring him next time. This place was very dog friendly and very low fee for a pet.

Every detail of this sweet little motel was considerate, attentive, and welcoming. The decor was charming, with quilted bedspreads and matching pillow shams, nice carpeting, and everything clean and pretty. The kind of attention to detail we found here matches some of the swankiest motels in the country. There were little chocolates left for us; the towels and washcloths were artfully folded. There were little notes left around the room explaining how things worked -- and even a clean rag on the edge of the sink with a message explaining that this rag was for wiping the windshield of your car! Also, the breakfast was terrific. Homemade oatmeal (real oatmeal, not instant), plus waffles and homemade coffee cake, and a very friendly hostess.

There were sandspurs in the grass around the perimeter of the yard, where I walked my dogs and then had to get them out of their fur! (The pet area had beautiful soft grass, but was too small to exercise my lively little dogs.) The dogs absolutely loved the environs, though, and even saw a bunny in the field behind the motel.

Very good (and hot) breakfast, including homemade items like egg casserole and coffee cake. Regarding location, it was a very small town (so limited food & activity options), but it was just off the interstate, so convenient for traveling. The wall décor in the room was also rather amusing and interesting. The desk staff workers were personable, knowledgeable, and helpful.

The overall ambience was a little dated, but still clean and comfortable. The breakfast should have included some sort of fresh fruit, even if just whole bananas and apples.

Walls were a little thin so my neighbor’s alarm woke me up at 4 am. I had to figure out how to connect the TV to wifi to get it to work, which I feel should have been taken care of in advance. I got several confirmation emails about my reservation through booking.com but then when I arrived they didn’t have it on file somehow.

My dog and I were traveling down 83 when the blizzard of 2024 hit. We had whiteout conditions and were so shook when we finally arrived. The staff members were amazing. They went out of their way, even fed the entire hotel when we couldn’t get out. They wouldn’t even take any extra for the food. They even gave me some food for my dog to eat. Breakfast was also nice. It is obvious the staff takes pride in what they offer. It was all homemade food in nice service dishes. The rooms are also uniquely decorated and very clean. Everyone there are very nice and the manager made it a point to ensure that I had all I needed. If you need a place to stay in Oakley, don’t pass this up!
