The location on the beach is perfect. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the staff was informative and helpful. There was always shade available on the outside deck.

The property itself was great. I think the neighbors might of helped them selves to the wood we had purchased and put in our fire pit.

The only reason I gave it a 4 is because we could not get the television to work. We attempted to contact owner but due to cell service we could not connect. Other wise everything was great. It was cold so we did not get to do anything outside but we did walk to sand area and it looked very nice. Had 2 Fore pits, one in sand which was cool. Picnic tables, small play area. This is a small area but nice. We will stay with them again.

A perfect destination for a family beach holiday. It has a wonderful view with a private beach, a wooden dock and a small play ground for kids The unit was clean with a full kitchen equipped with a huge fridge, a microwave, a burner/oven and everything you need to cook (pots and plates). We had a great time.

Cabin was a good size with bedrooms on opposite ends, Kitchen area, living room area.... the view of the lake was perfect. The inside of the cabin was fairly well outfitted. I noticed the exterior paint and roof/gutters looked newer and so did the large Trane AC units. Sandy beach was really nice although a bit cold some days in the water. It was beautiful with bald eagles flying by and chipmunks running around eating acorns. There’s a nice big deck on this property with garden lights strung up around. There’s also 2 fire pit areas. The swing set was a nice feature but it was old and needed maintenance. Property Manager Kara was really attentive, checking in daily to see if we needed anything.

Some of our cabin neighbors. Seemed like there was several folks in and out of the rooms during a week’s stay. Someone walked into our cabin one afternoon because they didn’t know where to go. When the weekend came around there was a couple with some kids that were constantly yelling at each other and the kids. I don’t know if I’d stay here again because of that. There’s 4 cabins. One Swing broke because it was old and someone put “do not climb” S- hooks on it to hold the swing which broke while the kids were swinging. Kids were ok but still, the problem needs addressed right away. The deck needs another stair, it was a little difficult for the older folks to get up and down. Overall the place was pretty nice though and we all had a good time. Made some good memories.

We checked in late so she did it remotely to make easier for us! The condo was clean and welcoming! Beach directly outside our door with a picnic table and chairs. We enjoyed sitting on the large patio deck. There are a few firepit to use; wood is for sale on side of road everywhere!! Marion's Dairy Bar has the BEST ice cream!!! Oscoda canoe rental has some great employees!! Get on the river early and you will have it all to yourselves!! Perfect! Only a few mins to stores in Oscoda, 10 mins to E Tawas. We will definitely be back!

the beach area could’ve been cleaner and cleared of debris such as acorns, sticks and rocks. The chairs by the fire pits has rips and holes. The deck needs some TLC. The cottages need updating. It was run down and needed a good deep cleaning. update the bedding as well. This place could be a hidden gem if it was fixed up.

I liked pretty much everything about the property. The manager was amazing and informative about where to go and what to do. We were late checking in and she let us have a later check out because of it. As I’m writing this on actually on my way back for another stay 😀

The only thing I would recommend is to get the screens fixed on the windows facing the lake, possibly spraying for biting flies, and raking the sand so there’s not as many leaves…. All of this is easily over looked however for the drs your getting with a fully functioning apartment.

The cabin offered everything we needed. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves on the lake shore and waking up to the sunrise was wonderful! The swing set and sand toys for the kids to play with on the beach were a wonderful addition! The location is convenient to both Oscoda and Tawas for groceries and dining etc.

It might be nice to offer an outdoor shower or rinsing station area for children covered in sand after playing on the beach.

Nice people, quiet, beautiful view of the lake, had a lot of fun and the cabins were big enough!

Needs something’s, deck chairs were falling apart, swing set still hadn’t been fixed since last year, could use some fresh sand on the beach as to the roots of the trees are showing through and are a tripping hazard! And someone brought a dog and we had to listen to it barking all night!

The view. The quietness between rooms. bonfires. cleanliness. friendly staff. comfortable beds. the big deck. big fridge.

Needed a night table next to the bed. A shelf in the bathroom would be nice to put toiletries. A few more cups and a big bowl for the kitchen.
