beautiful view of Lake Huron, nice pier to walk on, rooms were clean , newly built hotel. very good breakfast. not far from the scenic byway that has several tourists spots to check out. I had booked the lake view and when we arrived our room was looking at the parking lot. the receptionist quickly corrected it with no hassle.

not that I didn't like but we all know construction on these places is sloppy so there were things that were marred or had paint dripped on them that made it look messy. I was a little shocked because they were having a grand opening on 10/1/24 and we were there until 9/30/24 so they must not have planned to get things tidied up. the only other negative I have is that they should put hand rails in all the bathrooms not just the handicap accessible ones. also with a lake view the windows were dirty so when the sun rose it was difficult to see the water because if the cob webs and dirt windows (which is probably a never ending task to keep clean being by a park and all the sand that blows around)

We enjoyed the room. It was very clean and put togehter. The bathroom necessties such as shampoo, condintioner and body wash was much appreciated as well as the size of the product. The inclusion of the hand soap and lotion in the same brand and size was nice too. Very much enjoyed the little gym. The staff was very informative as well as polite.

It was known there was only a smaller pool and that was satisfactory but it had floaties at the bottom. Seen what was thought to either be quite a bit of string or hair and black pieces at the bottom. There was also quite a bit of, what looked like, rust on the little shower station, the drinking fountain and the pool railing.

Staff was excellent, helpful! We loved the location, and our room!!

The pool door was rusty and would not shut and remained open. Seemed unsafe or that people from the beach could enter who were not guests. Employee told us to not open the door however door was already open and the next day , same. I tried to close it but it would not close. Also, facility was out of toilet paper, however staff accommodated with kleenex tissue. Explained due to holiday weekend they were short on supplies.

Myself personally I loved the bathtub the most lol I have a shower at home but no tub and have been dying to relax for over 6 months lol but i really loved everything as did my children and husband.

The only thing I wasn't fond of was the surprise of $100's being held to cover experiences to the room, which was fine and maybe normal (i dont stay at hotels often lol) but if I hadn't had it then I would have been embarrassed and it doesn't mention it on the site or when booking. Also was told when making the payment that I would get the money back immediately after check out which apparently is not the case and was informed that prior to my check out that the topic had been brought up to the staff prior to me checking out and it won't be refunded immediately. But when my bank gets around to refunding it. It was mostly a miscommunication and doesnt change my opinion on my stay. :) oh and that there weren't extra blankets in the room.

Breakfast had a great selection and it was busy but staff made sure food was available and hot Location was great ! Play area next door was wonderful

We were looking forward to the pool but room and the pool was dirty. We stayed two nights and three days and the pool area had not been mopped and I know it’s hard because people are coming from the beach into the pool, but it needed attention

Only had 2 luggage carts. We had to wait a short time upon arriving, but even after a long wait and hand carrying our many bags, there still wasn’t a cart to be found. I suggest you location tag the insufficiently few carts on the property so that hoarders can be found and made to give up the carts for others to use

Gorgeous sunrise views, great breakfast with more than just your typical options. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Comfy beds.

Two small downsides: 1 - The people above us were having a party, and we had to move rooms, no big deal not the fault of the hotel. 2 - The pool was having issues staying heated, so we weren't able to use it.

That it was newer and cleaner and breakfast included, view, being close to the water, indoor pool!

Should have balcony rooms. They didn’t have the room I booked, gave a different room that was suppose to have 3 beds and it was still wrong, finally they did give some money back and we managed with a two bed room!

Location is great with the pier. Even in winter, you can walk out and see the beautiful sunrise. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of options.

No hot tub and the pool area was not kept clean. It more than likely was do to a group of kids making messes in pool area. The heated pool was rather chilly...

Clean room, comfy bed, great location. Loved the Keurig in the room but only having a tiny amount of powdered creamer and sugar available was pretty cheap. Overall it was a good experience but your coffee drinking customers would appreciate more creamer and sugar
