Best Hotel you could stay at why? Here’s why! Chloe had a warm welcoming, kind and very friendly to her guests. Chloe was very professional and took her job more then beyond!! I definitely will be back again! I really enjoyed having good conversation with her and felt welcomed. She made awesome drinks at the bar and even recommended me one and it was very good!! Thank you! Hotel was very clean and nice! Chloe knew I had a big truck and tried to work me around with parking space where there wasn’t anyone else staying next to my hotel at that time Thank you! Loved the property and area. Not a big deal! but there was some clothes left behind in the bottom drawer dresser from someone else.

They have done a wonderful job with renovations and making an old place feel more modern, rustic chic and just overall-welcoming. Staff were lovely, the bistro bar has simple options for food but still quite sufficient. Drinks look and sound wonderful, I ordered a Shirley temple.. it came out looking quite fancy and tasted great. Overall a lovely place, my fiance and I were quite surprised.

We had the "small room" (as we were pre warned at check in) and small it was! But very nicely setup/ furnished/ decorated.. the one thing that sucked was the shower was awful, great pressure.. but a very very tight space and the shower head was directly above head, I'm not a big person, but it was very hard to wash my entire body in basically a 2 ft by 2ft square. I didn't want to get my hair wet but had no choice with that shower. I imagine other regular rooms are not like this though. Parking was a little weird on site.

We booked a room at Hotel Rapids in December 2023 because they allowed dogs. We enjoyed the experience so much that when we had an opportunity to take a few days off in March 2024, we knew exactly where we were headed. Once again Hotel Rapids did not disappoint us! The staff is extremely friendly and during both of our stays, the owners popped by while we were in the bistro area and chatted. Check-in was a breeze and our dog loved the treat bag. For breakfast, the crepes and coffee were incredible! We made use of the Yurt to play some board games. It had a big screen TV, but we did not turn it on. We sat out back in the evening and used the firepit, which had plenty of wood available. I used the sauna and the essential oils provided. We took advantage of the bar/bistro happy hour as well as visiting a few breweries and shops in the area. There are many hiking trails close by and the staff is always willing to share a place to explore. The beds were very comfortable and noise wasn't an issue for us. Overall, it was another great experience and an awesome value. We will be back!

Love the nostalgia of an old property being refurbished for today. The rooms are cozy and nicely decorated. Excellent, friendly staff and of course the crepes in the bistro, so yummy!

Nothing major, the bottom shower trim is rotted and should be replaced. It appeared that some touch up painting was done in the bathroom and it was quite noticeable. Both issues not a deal breaker.

This boutique hotel is so cute. It looks like a renovated gas station and the furnishings were updated, modern and cozy. I loved the Christmas decor and that they’re pet friendly. The yurt looks like an awesome hangout spot and although I didn’t use it- the dry sauna out back is a nice bonus. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. All of them were so sweet and personable.

I missed the bigger amenities like a fitness room and free breakfast because I travel a lot for work and rely on those pretty heavily but I understand the discounted rates of this hotel reflect those missing amenities. The bistro was nice and the food was good though.

Modernized old hotel with great design, bistro and excellent touches. Loved the local brew coffee and coffee mugs in the room, outdoor comfy seating, and delicious crepes. The ladies running the desk and bistro made the stay enjoyable - very friendly and efficient on everything!

View outside window was the street, but that was easily fixed by turning my chair 😅

Several nice touches like glass glasses & coffee cups, mints, bottled water, reusable k-cups with coffee container w/scoop, soap dispenser, private entrance, leather & wood welcome book & room keyring, coupon for free on-site breakfast, little bar & bistro w/great patio attached, plus a yert & other amenities that I didn't use

Bar closes too early (9:30) and breakfast doesn't start til 7 so I missed it because I had to leave at that time. Coupon cannot be used for any meal other than breakfast

This motel has been around for a very long time and shows it's age a bit but the updates that have been done are very good and you cannot beat the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast we had was really wonderful and a great value with the vouchers that were provided. You cannot beat the price either. Very satisfied and would stay again.

Hotel Rapids is a pretty old structure, but it has been updated in a very good way. It's deceiving when you look at the exterior then go into your room. Nicely decorated studio type rooms. Quite trendy, very clean, wonderful staff. We could not have been happier anywhere else. I would definitely recommend Hotel Rapids to other travelers. Veterans Memorial Park is just across Hwy 2 and has super nice walking paths and lots of tall trees.

About the only thing I can think of is the door hinges on room 36 need to be oiled...they make a very loud noise when opening and closing the door.

The staff were friendly and went above and beyond when I asked to switch to a different room. There was also complimentary water and the beds were comfortable. The in-house bistro was amazing -- getting a voucher for it was a highlight and the crepe I had was positively delicious.

Bath was a bit dirty, but nothing a quick rinse didn't fix.
