Upon check in, I was taken aback that the front desk staff seemed unhappy that I had used Booking to reserve a room as it made the check in process “more difficult because the systems aren’t compatible”. I have never had this pointed out anywhere else that I have stayed and I use Booking often. It still seemed like a quick check in and I just brushed the comment off. We still enjoyed our stay. Rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff for breakfast was kind and helpful. We stay at this location every trip we come home to see family because my children enjoy it more than the other hotels in McCook.

Breakfast was average, but the sausage gravy was better than most. The pool was a bonus for the kids and really helped keep kids entertained when the weather went bad. The hotel was conveniently located close to a Walmart, but the town is very small and non fast food dining options are very limited, especially for breakfast.

My husband and I both agreed that the beds were very firm and not as comfortable as we would have liked. The weather was very cold outside during our stay, a big storm actually came through, and our room stayed uncomfortably warm at night, even while adjusting the heat to a/c.

The breakfast was very good, I liked the room where the breakfast was located, the selections were good and were kept stocked. When we checked in the staff person at the front desk was very helpful, and the facilities were a bit better than I expected.

Most of the staff were fine. I suspected, watching the operation (my father was a hotel manager and I lived in hotels until I graduated from high school), that because of present economic conditions the place was a bit understaffed, and the staff that were there were tasked with many obligations. This did not really negatively impact our stay.

The breakfast selection was nice. I'm not an early riser but I did get to breakfast by 8am. Much of the food was gone but staff was busy making more so it was worth the wait. I enjoyed the fruit and nice selection of teas as well as the cereals and yogurts. The freshly made eggs and sausages were very tasty. I didn't try the potatoes but they looked good. I liked that the area was spacious and very clean. I also like that you have a mini food market available although I didn't need to use it. I liked that the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There were several pillows with varying degrees of hardness/softness. Everyone should be able to find at least 1 pillow that is comfortable.

Overall, I enjoyed everything about my stay. The manager was very nice and helpful, and the staff was friendly. The only minor item I'd recommend is a lamp in the sitting area by the sofa. It was too dark in the cubby hole to work on my computer.

We had stayed at a different motel the night before, right next door to this one, and were NOT satisfied, so were pleasantly pleased with the quality of this Cobblestone. It was pricey, but I went online through Booking.com and got a very acceptable rate - otherwise would probably not have spent the $.

Nothing - all was great. Except as mentioned in last comment, I would not have paid the price they quoted when I called the motel directly. I was able to get the room for $55 less by reserving it at Booking.com.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved having access to a fitness room, laundry, and lounge. Our King suite was comfortable, spacious, and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

No complaints at all! But if I had a wish list, I would say a few more healthy breakfast items--whole wheat bread, hot oatmeal, cut fruit.

We arrived just before 1am after a very long drive. It was really great to have a human encounter at reception instead of an email and pin to get into our room The room was awesome - clean comfortable and we wished we could've stayed longer. It snowed overnight but we kept lovely and cosy in our room

I always love my stays with the Cobblestone, staff always kind and friendly, breakfast always great and I always leave feeling refreshed.

The tub in my room while showering made and awful creaking or like cracking noise, didn't sound good at all.

I booked a hearing room I was called by the manager to ask if I needed to change my room to a handicap room and they switched me no extra charges so I thank you for everything I have never been Disappointed with my stay everyone that works here are great

Annie the front desk mgr was very nice and helpful. Very clean hotel & room. Elevator available to upper floor. On site lounge/bar with tv room. very nice addition. A well lite parking lot . Hotel located in a new modern section of town. Id come back.
