The name says it all - the rooms are very small (a lot like living in a travel trailer), but they are also very well configured and always spotlessly clean. The Stanley Microtel certainly lived up to that standard - we can't think of any criticisms. They try to accommodate the people who work in the oil fields with block heaters, boot cleaners at the door, floor mats, etc., and the breakfast was quite good. Now, we're sorry to say this, but if you're hungry for dinner, don't expect to find a good restaurant in Stanley - we recommend the local Dairy Queen or any other fast food outlet.

No criticisms. This is a top notch place as long as you understand the meaning of "micro."

I was impressed with the breakfast that was available. I have stayed at other Microtels in North Dakota and their breakfast did not have as much to offer as the one in Stanley, ND offered. With Stanely being int the Oil Field, I was expecting the hotel to be run down, but that was not the case at all. The room I was assigned to was very clean and taken care of. The bed that I slept on was very comfortable ( I had a room with two beds in it). The pressure of water in the shower was perfect. I was very happy with my choice of hotel and will definitely stay again when I come to Stanley to visit my friends.

If I really had to find one thing to say that I did not like about the Hotel would be that the TV in the room I stayed in, was very small.

There were wrappers and trash under the bed from previous customers and it hadn’t been dusted in a while.

when asked if there were any discounts,including AARP the girl waiting on us said no. Then when we were heading up the elevator there was a digital sign stating you could receive a discount with AARP ? We paid 348.00 for this room.

this was a nice comfortable bed and an excellent price.

Shower did not work. I had to go to another room to shower.

Was in town for a funeral. The motel exceeded my expectations...room was clean. Bed was excellent. Breakfasts were outstanding. I'd recommend this anytime. And the value was excellent!

the property was well kept. my only complaint was that the surfaces appeared dirty or else wet from cleaning. i believe they were skipped.
