This hotel is literally a hidden Gem, and I mean hidden. It's down a small hill literally hidden. The hotel is beautiful the falls are private to the hotel and their restaurant. Restaurant is open to the public but closes at 8:30 pm. Restaurant is a little pricey but not noisy and the environment is nice. Service throughout are stay was 10/10 I highly recommend for a couples retreat. Nice quiet stay and you get a daily breakfast credit to either of 2 places to eat. Also their front desk person Dave was amazing.

Their is no on-site gym or pool which is ok as the booking did not mention it. Also the room keys were literally still physical keys which gave it a bit of outdated feel but ,thats ok that was not such a big deal. No ice machine must ask front desk for ice. Also note on booking not all rooms bring a microwave or fridge pay close attention when booking.

The scenery of the hotel was beautiful. It was located right on waterfalls and there are great places on the property to take pictures. It's a very relaxing and scenic hotel. They had outdoor seating too which was great! They had a neat service on the tv where it would give you ideas sort of like concierge at your fingertips. There was a little mini fridge in the room which was nice. The hotel also had free coffee and tea in the lobby.

I did not like the pillows in the hotel. They were very uncomfortable. There was some loud noises at night which woke me up. It was a little pricey for the location.

I stopped here after a retreat at the Himalayan Institute. Everything about this place is great. Prices are a bit higher because they provide access to their sister properties, that I did not take advantage of. Under different circumstances, I absolutely would. I opted to walk up to breakfast and it did not disappoint! The property being directly on a waterfall was quite soothing and entertaining in its own right.

My only regret was that I didn't have more time to take advantage of the amenities. This is a hotel that wants you to enjoy your stay, not simply sleep there.

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, great cocktail bar with wonderful menu! Hotel offers two-bedroom apartment style rooms.

It’s becoming pervasive in the USA but you cannot open any windows in any of the rooms at this hotel, which means no fresh air/ good airflow. Instead there’s a huge unit in the middle of the room with a tube attached to the window. Also…There is a rather rickety spiral staircase to access the two bedrooms. Ok for us, but might be difficult for people with mobility issues.

The secluded tucked away location on a waterfall in an old glass factory, enough said. Complimentary breakfast at the cafe at the top of the falls or at the Inn a short drive in the center of town. The cleanliness of the entire hotel, the friendliness of the staff and again...the waterfall, which made for great views. Beautiful sunsets to watch on Lake Wallenpaupack right down the road.

The falls were spectacular. They just opened the dam a few days prior. The reception of staff was wonderfully friendly. They were genuinely happy to welcome us. The food, the ambiance, and again, the staff made everything so enjoyable. This will be our go-to place to stay this time of year!!! It was a Christmas gift in itself to stay here. Although I would stay here any day of the year!!

I truly can't think of a thing. I guess if I had to, it would be the bed. It was a little low for us, older folks. But definitely not a deal breaker.

Only food choice on premises is a very expensive restaurant. Unknown to us, work was scheduled to be done on one of the decks outside. There are other decks, but the workmen decided to go ahead and smoke even tho they were told it is a 100% no smoking property. So relaxing outside was not an option.

Barb at the front desk made us feel like we were coming home every time we walked in. The amenities and the shared property amenities were over the top. We ADORED the Cocoon... I could go there every day. The Ledges... phew. What stunning and simple beauty. I felt like I was in a movie most of the time. I can't wait to come back.

We were in a room by the exit door so it was a little loud in the morning, but we wouldn't let that keep us from coming again as it was a normal amount of noise for where our room was. :)

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I needed to check in a little early, and they were very accommodating. The room, linens, towels were all clean and fresh. The location overlooking the waterfalls is really a rare gem. The lobby was a cozy spot to read, with a fireplace, comfortable sofas, and board games. The restaurant in the hotel had absolutely amazing food.

Some of the fixtures in the bathroom were a bit dated. I couldn't get my television to work but I didn't bother to ask for assistance because it wasn't that important to me. The shower gel dispenser was empty.

We should have been told about the ongoing loud construction by the pool. We would have probably not booked if we were made aware of that issue
