An older motel that has been kept up well and updated as needed. Very welcoming staff, they accommodated us with a ground floor room. The manager called after check-in to verify the room was acceptable. Nice breakfast. nice new TV in room and I really appreciated the CO detector, since we travel with a portable one.

Some might complain about traffic noise as that is unavoidable due to the location. They have a bowl of ear protectors in the lobby. We were not bothered by the traffic. not really intrusive, and we never heard the train.

The breakfast was fresh and hot! Also we got a call from the staff and later from the manager that we left something in the room. What wonderful service! Such caring and going the extra mile is not seen much anymore but these people went out of their way to make sure I knew about the lost item and then to try to make sure it was returned to me. That's a 15 out of 10 rating for job well done!!

The street noise.

The hotel is one of the older ones, but it has been maintained. The room was updated, and clean. The breakfast was good. It offered a variety of foods. The front desk staff was very helpful.

The parking is limited. After a big event in town, you might have problems finding a place to park. There are the trains also, but in Dalhart, they're everywhere. Overall, I would recommend it.

The staff was busy but courteous. As a recently retired commercial real estate inspector and thermographer, I have inspected thousands of motel and apartment rooms for potential buyers. This property stands out as one of the most maintained and clean I have encountered in quite some time. I commend your continued efforts in maintaining such high standards. Bill from Houston.

The hotel was easy to find and located on a main street. They provided a list and location of many of the local restaurants. the staff was friendly and helpful and they had a small canteen with candy and incidentals.

It was a bit noisy, since it was located right on the main street and also near a railroad track. But they did provide earplugs, if needed. We are used to the train noise so that wasn't a problem and the train horn going thru town was sort of nostalgic.

It was clean, the staff was friendly and efficient. Bed and linens were comfortable.

The price seemed high for an older motel in a tiny town next to a busy, loud railroad. By the time the pet fee was added to the discount price we were at $160. Whereas during the rest of our trip in other towns we've stayed in much newer hotels for $110. The room smellled like cigarettes (I think from previous decades, nothing recent).

Location between places we were traveling. Gas station right across street for easy fill & go next morning. Good typical BW breakfast. Texas waffle maker was fun touch.

Outside appears outdated, motel style look. But inside did not look run down, better than expected based on outside appearance.

The air conditioner definitely had a hard time keeping up with the heat for the weekend we were there. It worked good Friday did not work good on Saturday and was fine on Sunday. Not quite sure how that happened. It also was in another room that our friends were staying in as well.

They had bacon, eggs, biscuits, and gravy. That makes for a happy breakfast!

The trains rumbling and shrieking in the dark... kind of a bummer. But the hotel did provide earplugs! Unfortunately, ear plugs aren't really one-size-fits-all, so my daughter couldn't use them.

It was very easy to find and we needed a ground floor room, when we requested it the manager got back to us right away and was very helpful in making sure we got what we needed.

Nothing, the facilities were clean and the breakfast was great. The weather was terrible and they offered to let us stay if we needed to, so the experience was wonderful.
