The Lone Star Inn was an EXCELLENT find for our three night stay. Very clean, comfortable room, and king bed. The bathroom had an unusual layout that allowed more space in the room, and it had a spacious bath tub/shower with a side seat. THE INN WAS A GREAT FIND and VERY WELL PRICED!!!

1. Low water pressure in shower. 2. Needed to replenish breakfast items. No milk for cereal, no yogurt, no butter for waffles, one very bruised banana and some wrinkly tangerines that needed to be trashed.

It was easy to find, plenty of parking, and very clean. Simple, straight forward value hotel and no extra fees or holds.

The mattress was a bit too firm. The rooms didn’t have irons, they had to borrowed from the front desk. Also no protein at breakfast. Small inconveniences.

Owner on site 24/7, very pleasant and very accommodating. Very, very clean facility and room. Smaller room but adequate for our needs. Reasonable vending machine prices. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Would refer this facility to family and friends. Would most certainly stay here again.

Staff was very clean and loved the non smoking establishment very Adequate and staff strive on making sure customers were positively impacted and held accountable

*Chose this hotel because it offered Smoking Rooms (3 on the 3rd floor at end of hallway) and didn't want to have to go outside in below freezing temps* Check In was easy and friendly. $20 pet deposit. Good location off the highway. Near major restaurants (Check out Whistle Stop Cafe or Hometown Cooking). Water pressure was good. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Elevator was efficient. Fridge/MW in room.

TV is analog (??) so many of the stations are very glitchy. Breakfast was choice of waffles, oatmeal or cereal. (But choices for fast food or sit down restaurants nearby are plentiful)

Ambiance, location and staff knowledge. Breakfast was very good and they even have a wafflemaker in the shape of Texas. So fun and really good, too. First time in Decatur and felt at home. Even townspeople very friendly and helpful.

Well, it was a dark and foggy night and I was in a strange town. In December night comes early but I did want to eat. Food was close and happy to cuddle up in bed when I got back.

Champ P- GM was one of the most kindest and hospitable people. Super kind and always welcoming and location is just off the freeway.Thank you!

The facility over all was great the only thing that was not good was the breakfast set up
