The rooms are newly renovated, very nice and comfortable The rooms are spacious and have high ceilings, creating a pleasant feeling. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast allows you to replenish your energy - eggs, sausages, yoghurt and a few other things. Just fine For the first time we had a dishwasher in our hotel room. (Fridge and microwave oven are normal)

As is typical of the United States, the shower is fixed, meaning it doesn't have a hose. It would be nice if the shower had a glass door instead of a curtain. The fridge is relatively noisy in the night

Great little gem in Fort Stockton! Skip the chain hotels and go for this one! Big spacious rooms, with comfortable beds and comfy pillows, extra towels in the bathroom. Indoor pool was warm and fun, although it got crowded in the evening. Breakfast was excellent, but the staff was overwhelmed at first due the large numbers of people traveling back from the eclipse, but recovered well!

Refrigerator in room did not have a freezer section. This is a problem for those of use who travel with coolers or cold bags as we need the freezer section to chill our ice packs.

The hotel was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was good. The check-in clerk was very helpful by helping me to find our rewards membership number when I forgot to put in the information when I made my reservation. Will definitely stay there on our next trip through.

The door lock into our room would occasionally jam and not open. I found that flipping the handle would solve the problem and the pass card would then open the lock. I told the man at the front desk about it and he said he would have someone look at it.

This place has been lovingly updated by the owners. Rooms are small one-story motel rooms. But inside are contemporary tiled showers or baths, recessed nicely tiled showers that don't spill onto the bathroom floors as in more "upscale" places. All the work re-doing this place was done by the family themselves. Which work I appreciated having a brother who took old homes as his biggest "hobby" and made them new and better!

Bathrooms are tiny. Can't be helped. But well done and everything works. Shower pressure is purposefully water-saving and a bit too "gentle" for me. I want a bit of splash!

breakfast was pretty good, the hotel actually exceeded my expectations, as we were planning to only use it as a pass-through for our trip to New Mexico. The hotel was clean, staff was nice, and the presence of a hot tub was a welcome surprise to our fatigued muscles after spending 3 days in Big Bend National Park! Would definitely recommend.

This isn't really a complaint, as the hotel is in Fort Stockton, and there just isn't much to see - this isn't a destination hotel, but when in the area, is a great option for a good night sleep! The surroundings were a little boring.

The girl at the front was delightful, young college student. The fact that they keep the pool and hot tub open later than lots of places, and just the fact that you had a hot tub the breakfast was really good. The checkout time wasn’t too early. These are the things I look for due to bad back when traveling. Very comfortable king bed. And clean so very very clean.

Maybe keep the breakfast open till 10:30 for us late risers. Ty

It will be very nicely updated once their remodeling is complete. Beds were comfortable. Room was comfortable and clean and quiet.

The breakfast was just adequate. Didn't seem appetizing or like much effort was put into it. We only had coffee which was very good.

Hotel under Renovation due to new owners but the rooms available more than made up for the construction mess. Breakfast typical free attire but the room size and great beds made breakfast inconsequential. The room had full kitchen option. Anyone with family I would highly recommend.

We liked the location, cleanliness, friendly and courteous staff. The bonus was how comfortable the bed and pillows were. We were extremely tired and were looking fwd to resting for a bit before we got on the road. To our surprise we fell asleep right away and aslept the entire night without waking up during the night. Best sleep I have had in a while.

The toilet needs to sit a bit higher for taller people. I would also like to recommend a liquid coffee creamer instead of powder.

Good and clean facility..staff was very friendly. Easy to reserve a spot even though it was late.

Breakfast was not good. I was happy they were putting out fresh eggs and sausage as we came down to eat. Eggs were undercooked enough that I did not try them...biscuits were very dry and the gravy had no taste at all, one bite was enough for me...so glad I didn't get very much.
