We really enjoyed the cleanliness of the property, the security guards were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the secludedness of it. The fact that you have everything you need if you don’t want to go out and eat you have all your eating utensils you have a full equipped kitchen. Our villa was very airy and modern. They have plenty of towels and we enjoyed the dove toiletries.

It’s not “beachfront” per se but it is right there next to the beach. The road is the only thing between it. Some people may not like having to walk up the stairs but we didn’t mind it at all.

The villa is wonderful.and we really enjoyed our stay.. We loved the two bedrooms with very comfortable beds and two spacious bathrooms. The kitchen had all the things we needed. The balcony and table outside. This was one of the hotels on our trip. Vert, very comfortable.

The pool needs to be cleaned more often and better. There seemed to be a lime build-up on side walls and bottom of the pool. There was quite a bit of sand in the pool also.

It was very spacious and clean.

It is about 20-30 minutes from the more populated parts of the island. It is not a major problem but something to be aware of. The staff did let us know about food and other things nearby. They were still working renovations so some of the buildings did not have elevator service but they were up front about it. I fact they worked with us to get a room with a building with an elevator.

The property was nice but some parts were inaccessible due to the construction taking place.

The pictures online don’t quite match with what we saw in person. The infinity pool is only accessible for club members. The play ground is in the bright sun with no shade or covering and the slides get so hot they can burn tender skin. This is the same for the mini golf- no shade or covering to make it nice for families.

The room was great and had everything we needed. The activity center and mini golf were awesome! It was easy enough to drive across the street to park for the beach.

There was no elevator for the buildings and no mention of this upon check in. We were on the third floor which was somewhat difficult for my knees. There should be more transparency regarding this upon check in in case different accomodations are needed .

The room absulutely exceeded my expectations. We had beautiful views from the balcony at the sea. It was fully renovated and spacious, the kitchen well equipped. The pool was big and there's even a playground for the kids. The beach access is just across the road easily accessible by car or walk.

We had two showers in our suite, it would have been nice to have one bath at least because of the kids, but anyway it was a perfect stay.

No help. They said I would have a “butler”. We did not. Hard to get to room. It had been closed due to hurricane damage. They just opened back up, but sink was falling apart. They should have fixed those things. Pool drink services were frequently closed. Not enough pots and pans, or silver ware.

We liked everything about the property. We booked the signature villas (definitely worth it to be along the ocean instead of across the street). It was close to the ocean, with easy ramp access across a boardwalk. It had a wonderful pool, with an infinity section facing the ocean which was especially amazing in the evening. The staff in the coffee bar area were very helpful and friendly. We were given wrist band RFID key cards which were so much easier to keep track of while swimming! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We had booked 3 rooms for our family of 16 (8 adults, 8 children). We hung out mainly in one room, the other 2 were for napping and/or getting away from the family noise….worked perfectly. 1 room was large enough for us all to mingle, play games, watch shows, eat, etc. The Putt-putt course was fun and clean, and interesting. Best Galveston family vacation yet, this was our 4th year to do this.

Only thing that I didn’t like was, checkin was cumbersome, and there was a soft sell to listen to a “presentation” for more freebies, like a timeshare thing. I said no, and there was no further pressure, so only a little negative. This will not stop us from coming here again next year.

I enjoyed the location of the resort being away from the busy/main attractions of Galveston. Almost felt like a hidden gem. They had many available activities on the property for family fun. My toddlers had a blast at the beach, pool, park, playing putt putt and the small arcade at the activity center. Highly recommend for any family vacations with younger kids.
