It was so clean the grounds are well kept. We got two rooms my adult son stayed in the queen double room it was really clean and had a lot of room. My husband my two dogs and I stayed in a double king room it was very spacious and super clean. All the bedding was fresh and clean as well as the towels. All the sinks and bathrooms were spotless. We were so pleased and it was so nice and comfortable knowing everything was so clean we were driving home from a cross country trip and this was definitely a huge plus on our vacation. The staff was super friendly and helpful! We would definitely stay again if in the area.

This Inn was recently refurbished and it showed. The rooms were nice and clean. You could tell that the furniture was new and nice looking.

Sadly, breakfast was a bust. The waffle maker has an old waffle stuck in it, obviously left by another guest. They had bread and 2 kinds of cereal. The so called orange juice was nasty as was the coffee. It's a small place so they only had a pot of coffee. The first cup was full of grounds. They fixed another pot but it was basically dish water. We had to drive about 100 miles to find another place to get breakfast.

Very nice, clean and tidy property and room with freshly smelling bedding, good furnishings and decor. Great laundry. Unlike others, no reason to complain about the breakfast which was standard and sufficient continental style fare. Owners were friendly and it’s obvious they care for and maintain the property well.

Nothing.

I liked the large rooms with plenty of space to put my suitcase and bags. The fridge got my water bottles cold overnight and the bathroom was adequate. One particularly great feature at the motel was their parking spaces. They were wide and when I saw all the trucks parked there then I understood why. And each parking space is right in front of your room, unless someone else parks in front of it. The motel was very close to two good restaurants. We ate at the Hitchen' Post, which as as redneck as you can get, for supper that serves a mean grilled pork chop. The other is Pepe's where I ate an excellent chorizo and eggs plate for breakfast.

This place needs two ice machines. Because of all the roughnecks and truckers who stay here and leave before 7am, the ice machine is emptied of ice into their large coolers. I went to get ice at 8:30am and that was way too late to get ice for my 2-quart cooler.

Breakfast was good. Waffles in the shape of Texas(fun), bagels, cream cheese, 2 types of cereals, apples, bananas, 2 types of juice and coffee, tea (only non dairy creamer or milk, no 1/2 & 1/2). Nice for a free breakfast. Manager and staff were very nice. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. No bugs. Furniture a bit dated, but still nice. Nice having refrigerator in room. Nice hot shower. Shampoo and soaps provided. Overall very nice motel for an older style property. Parking in from of rooms and space for larger vehicles in lot in front of office.

People did not park in front of their room so had to park a couple spaces from my room and you have to back out of parking area, no turn around area. Other than that everything was nice.

Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast. Waffles, toast, cereal, bad coffee. Hotel was clean, but a little run down, could use some maintenance (I.e. caulking around tile in bathroom needs replaced etc). Nothing unpleasant, room was comfortable, just not outstanding.

Location and staff were great. Room was nicely decorated and clean. But, some of the furniture was placed oddly, ie refrigerator and microwave were in the bathroom blocking the facial tissue . The clothes rack was over the sink and refrigerator making it impossible to hang dresses or long coats.

Bed was hard. Had to turn heater up to 74 because it was so cold. Only 1 light blanket and a very light spread. Also, no coffeemaker in the room.

We have stayed here three times on our travels. I am always blown away by the cleanliness of the rooms , exceptional. Air conditioner great. Such good value for money.

Towels a bit small and rough. Need more coffees in the room, we had to ask for more. Breakfast basic but adequate.

The Hillcrest Inn and Suites was the cleanest place we've stayed at on our long road trip. The owners are very friendly, the bed was comfy and the room was sparkling clean. We highly recommend the Hillcrest to anyone stopping in Ozona. Also, there is a little restaurant just down the street called Pepe's that was very delicious. Extremely friendly staff and excellent food. I highly recommend the shrimp diabla!

I liked everything about this place. Clean and fresh and everything worked. In fact it was one of the best places I have stayed over the years for the price. I will definitely book this place again when I pass through this area.
