The hotel was nicely decorated and clean. I’m very picky about cleanliness of hotels, and this one was great. Considering it’s in a town where everything has been run down by the oilfield, it was very nice. The location is right off of the interstate, which can be convenient, but it’s not as close to the heart of town like most of the other hotels. But Pecos is a small town and it doesn’t take more than 5 minutes to get most anywhere in town. If we have to stay in Pecos again, this would be the hotel we stay at.

The staff was a little hit or miss as far as their skills in dealing with the guests. Some were very friendly and nice while others were kind of cold. But the ladies working the lunch buffet really took the cake! They were very rude! And heaven forbid you ask them for ANYTHING! No matter how small a thing it is. And they would all start talking about guests to each other in Spanish. I speak Spanish and know they were not saying nice things about the guests. Had it not been for them, I would’ve given a perfect rating.

The room was quite large. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was extraordinarily good. We appreciate the use of "real" dishes. It's so much better for the environment, and everything tastes better if it's not on paper or plastic. We were surprised by the attention to detail at the hotel. Every employee we encountered was friendly.

Everything about this location is "upscale". Lobby, room, breakfast and all of the other amenities.

Check in time is listed as after 4:00 PM. Most travelers may not arrive until sometime after but because this place is so nice some might want to arrive a little earlier. Like maybe 3:00PM.

it was roomy and clean with two sinks, one inside the bathroom and one outside for convenience. Nice coffee maker with decent coffee…good breakfast. Mauricio, at the desk, was asked to clean off the outside furniture so it could be used and he did it right away. The room had two entrances, one from the inside hall as usual, and one to the outside where we were able to park right outside our room. A great value.

The Alpine Lounge, located between the two Best Westerns, one the “Swiss Clock” the the BW Plus, “Chalet” may or may not have been associated with the hotels. We encountered a server, Tiffanie, who needed either more training or more motivation to help customers. Rather than list all of the inadequacies, I’ll say I usually tip 20% but on a $40-something meal it was all I could to give her $5. I’m sorry to point her out like this but really—put a little heart into it!

The hotel was very nice, clean, comfortable and had a wonderful breakfast! The pool was a bit cloudy, hot tub was very nice but could’ve been hotter. Otherwise, the pool area was beautiful! The whole place was very exceptional!

We liked everything but front desk person had trouble. Maybe was new. Took a long time but cannot say there was anything wrong.

This location was the best of the Best Western locations I have stayed at. The breakfast was THE BOMB!!! The ladies assisting during breakfast were exceptional. I had to thank them before leaving because they deserve the praise.

We thought this hotel was so well-cared for by the personnel. We felt the personnel really took a special interest in looking after the hotel and its residents. We would definitely recommend it to anyone going through the area.

Nothing!

The room was a good size. It was clean, including the remote control for the TV. It was everything you could ask for of a stop on a road trip. Breakfast was good. The staff was polite, professional, and efficient.

Breakfast every morning was amazing. The pool was warm and indoor so it was enjoyable in all weather. The staff was excellent. They all had a smile on their faces and were helpful whenever we needed help.

The only thing I could think of as a negative was that there was no bathroom in the pool area. You either had to go to your room or the public restroom by elevator.
