Upon checking in I paid for my room through the BOOKING APP. When I got to the hotel the front desk clerk was unable to see that I’d paid for my room. She asked me had I paid through Marriott which I told her no I used Booking. She said I needed to call customer service for Booking. I did. A guy answered pretended to help to no avail and hung up on me. I called back and got a woman. She went back and forth with the front desk clerk and the back and forth with the hotel manager. Finally Booking was able to fix THEIR mistake two hours later. My children and I sat in the hotel lobby this entire time! We ran the risk of being four hours away from home without anywhere to stay! I will never use Booking again! Both ladies that worked the FRONT DESK the clerk as well as the manager went above and beyond to ensure me and my children were safe and had a room!

The room was nice with a comfortable King bed and a big T.V. with a nice closet with ironing board and iron. The bathroom had a stand up shower, no tub with body soap, shampoo and conditioner. The A/C worked well, especially at the start of August eith humidity. Breakfast I. The morning was a variety of hot food. Scrambled eggs, real bacon, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, bagels, English muffins. Hot oatmeal with make your own waffles. Plenty of syrup. Strawberry preserve spread, jellies, brown sugar and fixings. There was a juice dispenser and coffee and tea available. The hotel has 4 floors and an elevator. Outdoor pool, and indoor fitness area. Down by the reception area is a snack area with beverages and such to be purchased if hungry. There is also a mini fridge and coffee pot in the rooms. This was a nice place to stay for a one or 2 night occasion. The staff kept it clean, especially in the breakfast area. The ice machines were on each floor which was a plus. We had a quiet and peaceful sleep.

One of the 2 elevators was out of order at the time. Minor renovations were being done on our 3rd floor, but it wasn't obstructive. Thermostat had to be be controlled by the wall not on the unit itself in the room. The bathroom does not have a vent, just make sure you bring spray deodorizer.

the hotel was perfectly located close to the Texas Renaissance Fair and the gas station within walking distance had a variety of food there! one night of our stay we were able to order delivery even! it was a fantastic stay

our only complaint would be that the Showers do not get warm enough. they only get up to a certain temperature and don't get very hot. one morning we had to shower cold because there was no hot water at all but I think another guest may have used it all

It seems like this is a newer property. It was extremely clean and perfect as we set to take our son to college. The front desk staff was very helpful and even gave us good information about the area

I visited my daughter at the local HBCU, which is only 8 miles from the hotel. It's a relatively new hotel, great location, clean, near a convenience store and gas station. I will most definitely be using this location in the near future!

I arrived at the hotel late Tuesday evening. The following morning housekeeping was near my room, talking on the phone (using the speaker feature) very loud. I opened my door to inform her I was still sleeping, and her response was, "right now…right now you're still sleeping". I stated yes, I'm still sleeping. She said for a third time, "you mean right now." I closed the door and went back inside to avoid getting upset. Shortly after, she walked directly in front of my room door, still on the phone and speaking incredibly loud. I called the front desk to inform them I didn't want room service that day because I didn't want HER in my room!

Best breakfast I have had at a hotel of this price point. Hotel was extremely clean. Also on the far side of west Houston. We didn't want to fight traffic getting out of town in the morning. Downside was there were few restaurants near-by.

The cleanliness, friendliness of staff, professionalism of staff, problem solving, all around a good experience.

Miscommunication upon booking over the phone and had a small issue at arrival but the staff worked hard to help me get it fixed and I was able to keep my reservation.

Breakfast was simple but efficient especially those that bare staying there for business or work. I love that the staff was friendly and very welcoming. Rooms were large and clean.

Location wise is slightly confusing. Because this is a new location, maps does not know that the location does have a way to enter. So be careful with that. Other than that, it was great!

Limited food options, other guests were noisy and would run around the halls at night laughing/shouting.

Always the highest quality room for the money. Clean, great staff and good breakfast. Terrific value
