Everything was fine for our needs except that the restaurant was closed.

Reception staff rather rude on arrival. We had booked hotel because it had a restaurant and although it was still being advertised in the lobby as “open tonight” when we asked about having a meal he said it was not open because they hadn’t any staff. We were very disappointed that we were not informed earlier and that he offered no apology for this and seemed surprised that we had expected to eat there!

Every staff member we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, there was a slight scheduling mishap with our requested room type. This was not due to anyone’s fault and beyond the control of the staff. However, they were very accommodating and worked to ensure that the issue was resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. And I stress that the issue was with scheduling and type of room, nothing more significant. After the fact, the staff checked with us to make sure everything was ok with our room and that we were enjoying our stay. We would certainly recommend staying here.

We are currently on a road trip. This one of the best Days Inn's we have stayed in. The location overlooking and in the mountains was lovely. Our room was clean and a nice size. The breakfast was good even though I only have cereal, my husband enjoyed the cooked breakfast. Not least all the staff were excellent, including the gentleman who came and fixed the television in our room. It was also nice having a restaurant on site.

There was nothing to dislike

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and a good value. Breakfast was ok, I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Restaurant/lounge was nice too, when it was open. Property did well to keep up with the winter weather and the parking was plowed and salted fairly quickly when a winter storm moved in. Staff was able to point me in the right direction to find the local liquor store (located inside the Exxon) which made the winter snow storm easier to endure.

There was a mismatch between what I paid for on Booking.com and what was actually available at the property. One of the towers was closed for the winter, which is where the room I purchased was located. There was some initial hesitation to provide a comparable room, but another staff member immediately intervened and ensured I got a relatively comparable room which I was happy with. There was also confusion over when the restaurant/lounge was open based on "winter hours" which resulted in some inconvenience. I had planned to have dinner there during the winter storm and didn't find out until the evening that it was actually closed.

Breakfast was excellent. Gentleman serving was very friendly. Very clean and comfy beds. Liked that all bedding was white and washable. Beautiful view.

RESTAURANT was closed because it was New years day,, we had to pay more, and we had to go out and find somewhere to eat. The dinner restaurant is one of the reasons we stop here. Also the bathroom counter was very small. Would have liked it bigger so we had a place to set our cosmetic bags

We liked the location and enjoyed using the indoor and outdoor pool. We also enjoyed the on site restaurant

Could have been a little cleaner. We had some problems with the toilet and even after maintenance come and said that they took care of it, it still didn't flush very well. Would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony, but the one chair that was out there was filthy

Checking in I was greeted by. Very pleasant man ,sorry don't remember his name , we checked in on December 31 round 7:30, the room ( 415) we had was very clean and comfortable, the following morning we had the complimentary breakfast, which was definitely one of the best we've had at a hotel, We were very pleased with our stay and we're loving the bears in the lobby and the Almost Heaven and Country Roads swings , if we're ever in the area again we will definitely stay here again , Thank you for making our stay wonderful 😊

Convenient, reasonable priced, great view, nice facilities, great lobby and dining area, good breakfast. Bears are neat.

We don't like the sink outside the bathroom. It's ⁹ inconvenient to hang towels, and it makes the rest of the room look cluttered when all the bathroom items(tooth brushes, toothpaste, shaver, soap, lotion, etc...) are laying on the counter.

The rooms were clean. I didn't notice any dust bunnies. AC worked great. The hotels diner had friendly staff. Their food was great, breakfast tasted great. Kids loved the indoor pool.

The only thing that could have been better was maybe having another waitress for that weekend in the diner. It was busy due to the WV Bigfoot Festival.

Nice property and I was upgraded to a room with a balcony.

It would have been nice if breakfast was served until at least 10:00 p.m. I did not get up in time to enjoy this amenity. I would also appreciate if the smoking area was further from the front doorway there were two gentlemen smoking cigars right by the door and they couldn't be avoided.
