The room exceeded our expectations. First of all it was huge! The bed was very comfortable and the bedding super soft! The furnishings were great too. I loved the chez lounge for reading. So many lovely touches including the ottomans and the ambient lighting. Everything was updated and spotless. The bathroom shower was a walk-in and very spacious. The fridge and microwave were a very welcomed bonus. The staff were friendly and responsive. There was even a hot chocolate bar and fresh cookies waiting for us upon arrival.

The location and amenities are excellent we love staying there. The breakfast is always good and the staff are always friendly with us and our dog. The area around the property is great for walking dogs and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area.

Usually the beds are all very comfortable, but the mattress in room 228 has a broken side towards the window. That side dramatically collapses and can roll an individual out on to the floor if they get to close while sleeping. Some Asian Beatles were coming in the room from the winter. Other than that everything in the hotel was excellent.

Beds, pillows, and blankets were soft and comfortable. Room was spacious and clean. Water pressure was great. Breakfast was hot and tasty.

We were on the same floor that the animal lovers were on. So, their howling and barking weren't the greatest. Had my ear plugs, though. So we got some sleep. (Don't get me wrong, I love animals)

This was a perfect spot as it was close to the event we were attending. Lots of food and stores nearby too. Staff was personable. Although she was juggling a lot during her time on. One lady show. She handled it well.

Shower was a bit dirty. Otherwise the facility and our room seemed clean.

What a pleasant surprise! This hotel was clean, updated and very comfortable. Great amenities for a property at this price. Especially appreciate the bath mat in the shower/tub- not a feature in most hotels, even more expensive ones.

The mattress was a little soft for my comfort, but still not terribly uncomfortable.

Stayed in the standard queen room w/ two queen beds-extra floor space for one night to visit Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum about a 10 minutes drive for those wondering. The room was clean (no bed bugs found) & breakfast was great!

We had a handicap room and it had a spacious bathroom which was fantastic for our needs.

Breakfast was horrible. The eggs were burnt and cold. The sausage was cold. The gravy was like glue. It was not good at all. TheIr breakfast is usually the biggest reason we choose this hotel.

Very friendly staff and helpful, Room very clean and was very roomy, the location was good not far from our destination of our tour ! I would definitely stay again !

I had booked a reservation on the booking.com sight but realized if you where touring the transalleghaney asylum you received a discount on your room it said to call if you where doing so. Somehow there was a mix up and I was charged for two different rooms....but in defense of the staff at the holiday inn they where very helpful and nice about refunding our money !!! So it worked out !

We always stay at this hotel because of the location and the amenities. The employees are wonderful, and we enjoy the quiet of the hotel and the comfortable rooms.

We had a minor issue with the door not locking but the staff quickly switched us to a different room.

Easy access on and off highway. Room was clean, beds comfortable, strong water pressure in shower. Staff recommended take out from Gino’s across the street as the weather was nasty and we were tired. Food was excellent! The hotel breakfast was plentiful with a variety of options.
