Went to Hayward with to go see Larry the Cable Guy at Sevenwinds Casino (wasn’t even a 10 min drive) when we arrived the owner checked us in and he was extremely nice and friendly. The biggest bonus was I was able to bring my dog for an extra small fee!

That we couldn’t stay longer and use the backyard as there were hammocks, fireplaces, grills, and maybe more.

Perfect location just outside of the Main Street of Hayward -- near the Fish Museum, Moccasin Bar, and restaurants. Staff was pleasant at check in with our room ready. The room was super clean and bed was soooo comfortable - we slept very well. Had some amenities available of soap and shampoo/lotion. Super soft towels. Did not use the pool but it was in full action when we were there and the kids looked like they were having a blast. A campfire was lite at night that was nice. Presently it is undergoing room renovations and is a bit dated - but if look beyond this and landscaping needs (both of which do not affect the room you will accommodate) it is a gem -- we would stay there again! --

A few more outlets for charging phones ipads/laptops with usb ports would be a nice perk.

This is a recently locally purchased small town motel.Work in progress.The outside and halls need attention.But were clean.They are working on.My room had an adjustable bed,L shaped couch,new flooring.Very clean.Desk clerk amazing.Support local small town business.

The parking lot.Needs attention. Is on their list to fix.

Owners seem positive, eager to please, trying to succeed.

2 burned out lights. Some general maintenance needs. The facility is a little tired and in need of updating, but clean. The balcony needed cleaning up from tree debris.

It is an old motel typical of the far north woods fishing area that has gone under a lot of interior updates but still has the old exterior. Room was very nice and pool looked nice too. Location was just on edge of town with woodsie feel.

I understand that it was a big weekend for the town with the Lumberjack Championship but at $188 it was a bit high.

Very clean. Big parking lot for parking trailer with atv’s or snowmobiles. Very friendly owners. Outdoor fire pit if interested in sitting outside at night. Notice left in room stating they were updating the rooms, etc. Thought that was a nice thing do do.

Our room was very nice and it was close to the event we were going to! The couple in the office were wonderful!

One bed was great and the other felt like there was something down the middle.

Very nice people working hard to restore a hotel that's been in Hayward for a long time. They have accomplished a lot and have great vision to continue to work on the property.

The room was excellent Will be nice to see all the improvements in the future

No breakfast, even donuts and coffee Wasn't a deal breaker

The new owners are renovating right now. Doing a wonderful job at making your stay as comfortable as possible. We are looking forward to going there again!
