Perfect central location in Hayward, WI. We got room #15 with a deck along the river, and it was lovely. Everything is clean and well maintained. Artwork and furnishings are so cozy and perfect for the location. It's obvious that the owners really care about their property. We didn't have a chance to use the fire pit, but we'd love to return and do than next time. The flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, air conditioner & dryer all worked perfectly. The best part about this place are the friendly and hospitable owners, Luz & Szymon. They are fantastic! They made us feel like family. We will definitely be back.

What a darling little motel with super friendly staff! It's a perfectly Northwoods place, just like the pictures but with a dose of warmth that doesn't show online. I was one of only two full rooms on a winter weekend, and the staff brushed the snow off my car for me and didn't snowblow until it was almost time for me to check out, in case I was sleeping! Comfortable mattress, EXCELLENT heating in room, and somehow the ordinary minfridge/microwave/coffeemaker setup seemed more appealing than normal. The Queen bed + sofa setup had lots of room in the middle and a little entry area that made it cozy. Good hot water, newly redone shower/bathroom. And very central location near main street and all the happenings, restaurants etc. nearby. I'll be back!

I last stayed here more than 5 years before my 2024 visit. From what I remember, they've renovated the rooms and it's a much nicer motel experience (though it is still motel). Not cheap during LWC, but reasonably priced and SOOO much better than the AmeriVu across the street. No ice machine but the owners are happy to get you some as needed.

Room is rather dark. It will be a bit damp but it's hard to avoid in the summer.

I arrived a bit late, and the owner invited me to join him and his friends for a dinner of fresh fish cooked over a campfire on the property--fantastic. As far as I could tell the rooms were very clean which is my number one ask.

I really have no complaints, and there was nothing I didn't like, but if I were making upgrades I'd start with the pillows, and move on to defrosting or something to make the freezer section of the mini fridge more functional.

I liked that the rooms were different than the chain hotels and I loved the deck right off the room, next to the water. It was private and quiet and in walking distance to bars and restaurants. The staff as very accommodating.

Needs a king size bed in all the rooms and could have used and ice machine after the front desk was closed.

Convenient location to downtown. You could walk to most shops or restaurants, etc if you wanted to. Room was very clean and comfortable.

The only complaint is that the bed was very firm, but we have found that in almost all hotels in the northwoods area of Wi.

The location and people at the motel were excellent. The motel is exceptionally well maintained and directly on Lake Hayward. They had an exceptional setting with a well maintained dock, and the owners made sure everyone was having a great time. Ate breakfast across the street at a local breakfast restaurant, and the food was great.

Booking.com description said there was a terrace. The guest deck was around the corner from the room. I wouldn’t describe the room that it has a terrace. View of river was obstructed. If you want a terrace and unobstructed view, get a their “water front” room. Bait & switch??

It was a very clean Hotel and near downtown and other attractions. Sits on the river and had a very nice deck to sit and watch the sun set or fish. Breakfast place right across the street was handy.

I couldn't find an ice machine.

I had a girl's weekend in Hayward with 3 other girl's. This hotel is clean, reasonably priced and easy walking distance to downtown (about 1/2 mile). I had been to this hotel with my husband prior to us girls going. It is not a super impressive looking motel on the outside, but the gals who had not been there before were pleasantly surprised how clean and nice the room was.
