Duc Thang Guest House is a decent budget option if you’re looking for a simple place to stay. The rooms are basic but clean, and the location is convenient for exploring the area. The staff is friendly and willing to help with any questions or tour bookings. However, the facilities are quite simple, and the comfort level isn’t the highest. If you’re just looking for a budget-friendly place to sleep, it does the job, but don’t expect anything fancy. Overall, a reasonable choice for budget travelers, but there may be more comfortable options available.

The lovely woman who runs this guesthouse might just be the hardest working woman in all of Vietnam. She does everything she can to help each and every one of her guests, from arrange buses, motorbike rentals, connecting you to trekking tours and even helping with currency exchange. She and her husband also own the restaurant right beside the guesthouse and will prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for you if you like. All the food freshly made and is a good as any in Dien Bien Phu. As for the guesthouse, it's more like a budget hotel but quite sufficient and clean. If you choose to eat at their restaurant it will feel more like an extension of the guesthouse. Lovely place and people.

Great stay. Linh, the owner, is very friendly and helps with anything you need, including bus tickets to Laos, Laos Kip etc. She has a restaurant next door that she also cooks in with good food. The room was clean, comfortable, and very nice views of the city. The location is convenient for buses and very walkable to amenities and sights in the city. Very good value for money!

Location is great because the bus from Hanoi can leave you just 2 minute walking from the hostel and the bus to Dien Bien Phu will come pick you up literally in front of the hostel. In case you are crossing to Laos, don't buy the Dien Bien Phu-Muang Khua tickets from 12asia or other websites, they will charge you a lot. Buy the tickets directly from the hostel. Price was very good for what it offers. They also run the restaurant down in the street, where they cook very nice food at a good price also. Walking into town is not too far from here.

The location is great, easy walking distance to all of the key sights. We hired a bike as well from the property and it was super easy. There is very limited food options around the area and the restaurant attached was super helpful during our stay.

We only been there for 1 night. Initially we booked 2 nights but we changed our plans, so we went with night bus to hanoi and not with the day bus to sa pa. It wasn't a big deal to reduce one night, what we really appreciated. The lady who runs this accommodation is kind and booked us a bus to hanoi, sure it's a bit more expensive than if your booking on your own, but for us it was ok. She also has a small restaurant next to the accommodation. We have eaten there, but it looked good.

Friendly staff, can help you with Sim cards. Very clean and well equiped rooms. They offer very good breakfast for 50.000Dong (Vietnamese Coffee + pho) or 40.000Dong (Vietnamese Coffee + sticky rice). Hotel is situated in quiet alley.

Nice room, comfortable bed, good hot shower, The lady was very sweet and helped us so much with the SIM card, the bus tickets, the taxi They also run a small restaurant next door with yummi food!
