This hotel is super gorgeous. Firstly the rooms are very large, with windows and views from 3 angles across both rivers which look so beautiful at night, all lit up. You have every amenity you could wish for.. large, comfortable beds and pillows, bedside cabinet, large wardrobe, a fridge, air conditioning, a powerful fan, TV, desk, chairs, table and a suitcase rack. The WiFi is fast over 50 Mbps and nearly always stable.The bathroom is also very spacious with a large window overlooking the river, and everything is sparkling clean.Water is provided as well as shampoo, toothbrush, comb etc. Nick speaks perfect English and is very helpful and attentive. The location is perfect, near Nhat Le Beach where I enjoyed swimming, and also there's a Winmart supermarket 4 blocks away It's also quite close to the moat and fruit market. If you turn right out of the hotel and immediately left, you'll see a small triangular park. On the right side you'll see small tables and chairs outside a restaurant with delicious Vietnamese food very cheap. If you want more upscale, 7th Heaven restaurant is a couple of blocks from there. Last but not least, the rooftop terrace is a must to see sensational sunsets.

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at, especially at a budget price. The rooms are very big with 3 windows facing different directions over the 2 rivers, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The cleaners do an excellent job as the rooms are spotless, with soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, also combs. It's a perfect location overlooking 2 rivers and very peaceful. You have a desk and 2 chairs, a table, bedside cabinet and big wardrobe. Everything smells fresh unlike some places with a musty smell in tropical climates. Additionally, there's air conditioning, an efficient fan and TV. The WiFi is fast over 50 Mbps and generally very stable, only occasionally drops down for a few seconds. I was able to work online without problems. Finally, I'd like to thank Nick for his patience, working the cleaning around my odd hours and going out of his way to help and answer messages promptly. His English is perfect. I would definitely recommend this place, and I'll be back in a flash if I'm ever back in this area, which I hope to be, as I love Vietnam and I had a memorable and magical day at the nearby Phong Nha caves. Not to mention the bathroom has it's own water tank which heats up in 5 minutes, although I prefer a cooler shower in hot weather. 2 Windows in the bathroom, one of which I could see the beautiful river while taking a shower! I can't forget those brilliant sunsets from the rooftop terrace, even from my room. Sad to leave.

Location was perfect, short ride to the beach (or 25-30 minute walk) and plenty of restaurants in the area. We were unlucky that the weather wasn't great, so didn't get the full beach experience, but that's obviously not the hotel's fault. It meant however, we spent more time in the rooms than we normally would and we noticed the rooms were quite noisy. Our "neighbour" liked to watch TV until late at night and we could hear the dialogue. Other than that, the rooms were spacious, clean and the beds and shower were good.

First, Hana is amazing! So kind and professional. She is absolutely delightful and will make your stay perfect. The owners are so lucky to have such a star working for them. Thank you Hana, I will always remember you. Best room I’ve had so far in Vietnam (#703). Awesome views, spotlessly clean, nice firm & comfy bed, awesome AC (AND portable room fan!) consistent, strong wifi, great location. I only wish I could have stayed a week longer! HIGHLY recommended! Nam Long Plus hotel is the place to stay in Dong Hoi!

Bathroom was a bit dark, especially when trying to shower in the evenings. Another light would have been nice. But not a major issue. Quite a bit of continuous noise from the overhead room. Banging, dragging of chairs, things suddenly dropping. Interrupted my sleep at times & needed earplugs.

Great spacious room and bathroom. They cleaned every day so it was basically spotless. Great location but still in a quiet street.

Staff was very friendly, but when checking out they told us that if we want to pay by card they charge a 20% surcharge, but couldn't really explain us why. So we had to rush to the next ATM to get some cash. Overall still a good experience.

My room was huge and clean. It was located on a high floor (there's an elevator) as I requested and had several large windows. Before my arrival, I had asked for their help with booking me a tour of the caves and it turned out great! You can order a tasty breakfast from the menu in advance or just go downstairs in the morning and they will prepare it for you. There was a place for me to refill my water bottle, and also a couple of small bottles are placed in the room each day of your stay. Recommended!

Stayed end of March. Lady at reception was so helpful and speaks English very well. Family run I think. She even booked our train tickets for us after we had trouble finding seats online. She was always happy to answer our questions and you can tell they care about their customers. Huge rooms, very light and airy, views in two directions. Everything worked fine. There was a big desk which doubled as a dinner table for our Grab food delivery. Small rooftop area you could access via the lift also. We didn't realise it was there at first. Perfect location for day tours to Phong Nha or DMZ etc. There is a list of things to do in the area. Remember to check out the big history museum in Dong Hoi, very interesting place.

Tv sticks out a bit from the corner of the wall, so need to be careful not to hit your head when using the luggage rack.

I had a lovely stay here. The family is so sweet and my room is spacious comfortable and clean. The room also has a separate room for the toilet it's great if you have a small group. The location is nice and walkable to the shore. The building has an elevator for those who don't like to take the stairs.

The welcome, very clean room and bathroom very spacious with nice vue, super comfortable bed and mattress, very nice staff, special thanks to Ha(Hana) who speak very good english and gave me the right informations, always smiling and friendly, she took me to the local bus to Phong Nha in the morning 👍. Thank you to the owner wife for the welcome, always offering you a cup of tea or coffee. I highly recommend it. 🙏👍🙏

Very large room. AC ok. Beds comfy enough. Staff friendly. Located well for historic church short walk away with a great cafe also nearby. Can organise a tour with them. Can take card payment!

No hot/cold water dispenser. Shower ran out of hot water fast, no relaxing showers. We had a maid knock on our door at 8.55am to clean the room and we were in bed, this is too early when people are on holiday.
