The property is lovely located in the nature reserve, good size swimming pool, comfortable sunbeds. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious with fresh veg and fruit, everyday was something different. We are vegans and could easily have satisfied meal. Also the view from the room no 16 was fab 🙂 We hired the bikes and it was great to visit nearby restaurants and just avoid walking in hot weather. We took taxi to the hotel and back to the airport, you can do this directly with the hotel too.

It would be great if more staff could speak a bit better English. The beach was sandy but also very dirty, so much rubbish, we decided to spend time around the pool.

Wow. This place is a hidden gem. From the minute we booked this hotel, the communication was incredible. No question was too much. Alta is the nicest host we have had in all our travels across Europe. She greeted us with names and Albanian tea. The rooms were huge, with lovely balcony’s overlooking the lagoon. The restaurant is open all day till 10pm and the food is amazing. Breakfast was amazing too- so many options and all very fresh. The WiFi was brilliant, worked all over the property. A short walk to the beach and we hired bikes for 2€ an hour into the city, Lehze is a beautiful place to explore. We didn’t book a taxi to our next destination but Alta offered to drive us, she really is a wonderful human. Everything about this hotel is amazing and we 100% want to return!

Rambuje Resort is tucked away in the Lezhe lagoon, just a 10 min. drive from Lezhe city. It is easily accessible via a short dust road off the main highway and 40 minutes from Shkoder, with beaches, local attraction, and restaurants nearby. The resort is quiet and relaxing, with animals roaming the property. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making one feel at home. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped for comfort and functionality. Delicious food made with fresh local produce is available at the restaurant throughout the day.

While some areas of the resort show signs of age, they don’t detract from the overall experience. The only real downside is the presence of mosquitos in the outdoor spaces, especially in the parking lot and just off the property (thankfully not in the rooms or restaurant), so come prepared.

We had an amazing stay at Rambuje Hotel and can’t recommend it enough! The owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming, always making sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made our visit special. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our stay was renting a kayak and paddling out to the sea—such a peaceful and memorable experience! The pool area is also beautiful and super relaxing, a great spot to unwind with a drink or a book. We also had the chance to try some of the restaurant’s food, and it was absolutely delicious. The grilled local fish, fresh vegetables, and traditional Albanian dishes (including dessert!) were all amazing. If you’re visiting Lezhë or the surrounding area, definitely stay here. The combination of comfort, nature, and warm hospitality makes it a truly special place.

Had a wonderful stay at Alta's. Before I tell you about the hotel, I would like to say that the hostess is a warm-hearted woman with a wonderful service ethic, attentive and pleasant to guests. The hotel is great and all the facilities in the hotel are good and clean. Beautiful rooms. There is a great restaurant downstairs and we had a delicious dinner there. There is an option to rent bikes to travel in the beautiful area around the hotel to the beach, there is also an option to rent a kayak to paddle in the stream near the hotel. We had a great time, highly recommended.

Beautiful location next to a lagoon with great wildlife, particularly birds. Very kind and helpful manager, Alta, who was always available to help us make our holiday more enjoyable. Children loved the pool, bunnies, puppies and kitten. Cheap bicycle and kayak hire. We really liked Albania and would recommend it as a place to visit.

There was a lot of rubbish, especially plastic on the beach and some of the surrounding areas. Local hotels should organise beach clean ups and provide water refills to create less plastic. I also did not like the amount of food waste that was generated at breakfast. People were presented with big plates of food that they often didn’t want.

Great surroundings, very clean room and bathroom, nice furniture, huge clean pool with sun beds and umbrellas and shower, good breakfast buffet, sun set panorama over lagoon was great, if you managed to ignore huge parking. Very friendly staff and manager, bicycle and canou rent, 20 walking min to clean beach with bar and sunbeds, 15 walking minutes to garden restaurant with very nice setting, but too much moscitos after sunset.´Reliable shuttle service from other cities.Good wifi.

Very small balcony, no moscito protection, room was a bit dark, no shop around, you better have a car, but management will help you out for shopping needs, I was offered a lift to the beach.

We had the best time at Rambuje Resort - Beautiful, peaceful, amazing food and unrivalled hospitality. The hotel is on a Lagoon and the views of the rivers and mountains around are stunning. The service and hospitality offered by Alta and her team was second-to-none, definitely one of the best customer service experiences we've had. Alta gave us the warmest welcome when we arrived and went above and beyond at every opportunity throughout our stay. The area itself is very quiet so you really feel like you're away from it all and that also means there is an abundance of wildlife to enjoy. The hotel is an easy cycle/walk down to the beach and about a 25 minute cycle into the town of Lezhe. If you want to venture further than Lezhe then hiring a car may be the best option, but my partner and I were very happy exploring the local areas that we could reach by bike. We cycled into Lezhe to see the Castle and watched the sunset from up there which was stunning, and we even met a tortoise on our way down. We hired Kayaks one day and had a lovely time paddling down the river and spotting a variety of birds including Kingfishers and even some wild horses. We saw Flamingos flying over one morning as well! Rambuje is home to it's own well-mannered animals including a couple of lovely dogs, cats and chickens which we loved seeing wandering around. We ate at the restaurant every night and the food and drinks were amazing- beautiful fresh local seafood and some lovely pasta dishes too. They have an impressive drinks menu to cater to any taste and the local beer is great! The breakfast was perfect for us and offered between the very respectable times of 8am-10am. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a very easy to control aircon unit and a lovely balcony which gave us the most amazing views. I honestly couldn't recommend the place more. Perfect place to be able to unwind and relax while offering some opportunities to explore should you wish to.

Clean and good sized rooms and beds. Good facilities in the rooms, including fridge and kettle. Location was off the beaten track, but nicely isolated for complete peace and quiet. WiFi throughout the property and air conditioned rooms. Fresh food daily, breakfast was excellent, buffet style with a diverse selection. Alta, the host was absolutely amazing, catering to whatever you need and offering excellent recommendations. Some animals around the property which adds to the charm, all the hosts own (chickens, guinea fowl, cats, dogs). Never a bother just milling about. Was a wonderful place to stay and would definitely go back.

The food was exceptional. We ate at the restaurant every night, and I tried nearly everything on the menu. The seafood was delicious. The hotel was very clean. The staff and owners were very friendly and went above and beyond. I would fully recommend staying here. This is what a hidden gem is.

There wasn't anything to dislike. However, the hotel is located in a remote spot with nothing around. You would need a car if you wanted to go to the shops or other restaurants or even to explore more. However, you can hire a car from the hotel if need be. This didn't really bother us as we spent the whole stay at either the pool or the local beach. It was exactly what I needed. To switch off. Warning: The beach is a couple of km away down a dirt track. The only other issue we had was that you had to spend 20€ before you could use your card. Luckily, we exchanged some money at the airport already so we could buy water and snacks. You can't drink the tap water.
