Liked most of things such as cleanliness, staff service, room view. Do not recommend in winter time, for summer, definitely yes.

We were in winter time, for new year celebrations, it is expected not to have a lot of guests since this is off season, but it is not acceptable for the SPA to be turned off because there were not much people, we had to call reception to tell them we were about to go to spa and then they would turn on , but even in that case sauna was closed, steam room closed, salt room was ok but very basic and minimalistic, hammam was closed. Once when i called they warmed up a little bit the pool area and the sauna but others were closed. In general in winter time i do not recommend the hotel. Indoor pool was not so good, in the bottom on corners there is debre of something like sand.

Great room - Tv with Netflix and Prime. V Big comfortable bed. Coffee machine and kettle and a good shower. Balcony had a through flow of air so that despite the July heat you could sit comfortably or do yoga or whatever you fancy. Excellent breakfast especially the different egg combos. The spa was free and the best thing was Mikki and her daughter doing nails and massage. Great massage and nails done to perfection for very reasonable price plus excellent English. It was a walk to the pool which is unusual and to the beach but at both there were always enough plush loungers with big umbrellas. Take an evening stroll along the beach to have a drink and watch the sun set. The best food on the beach was the Essentials bar and delicious mocktails. Very friendly couple Phil and Tania run a paddle board rental business. There’s a mini shop on site to buy snacks, beer, sundries. Staff at the hotel were very willing to help. Check in and check out was smooth

There’s no town nearby it’s very much a resort space but the beach is much better than at Durres. Therefore don’t come here hoping to get a feel for Albania. I got very bored of the repetitive loud music played on a loop at the pool and at many bars on the sea front but Essentials played better music. The hotel itself had tranquil classical which was a relief. I wish they had shown the women’s euros on the big screen as it wasn’t possible to watch in the room.

The staff is wonderful there. Hat down to Anxhela, Durim, Francis, Cemile, Hasan, Ali, Ferit and the others that I forgot to mention. They enhance the value of this hotel by milions.

Stay was very nice, it was our 3rd there already. Facilities are good, they have 2 gyms and nice indoor pool. Also, in season they do complimentary chocolate hour, my son and my mum truly enjoyed it! Hotel is located close to the beach which itself is quieter that Durres beach, with less dining options, but the beach itself is so much better, also we preferred quiet for this trip. You can easily walk to the beach or, Hotel can provide a very cool buggy ride, something for children to enjoy. Hotels restaurant accidentally overcharged us significantly, but they resolved it very quickly, and provided us with bonus 2 night stay as an apology, which we welcomed. A way to treat your guests!

I liked staying in Movempick hotel. We stayed in a family room room. It was clean, spacious and comfortable, well equipped. The spa area is well organized, the indoor pool was a bit small for that hotel, crowded, but with warm water and well maintained. The massage treatment was really qualitative and impressive. The staff is polite and helpful, especially the reception lady. She allowed us to check out 1 hour later, which I really appreciated.

The restaurant is good, but it needs some improvement, it should be more organized. It seemed that should be more staff and the waiters could be more attentive to the clients. The breakfast was ok, but you can deal with lack of some foods in the busy times, for example of fried fried or scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausages etc. Anyway, in overall it was a nice beachfront hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and we had a lovely time. The room was lovely and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast provided a huge variety and the restaurant food in the evening was exceptional. Reception staff were very helpful with booking taxis and arranging a birthday cake, the restaurant staff were attentive and the spa staff were also lovely.

It was a shame that the swimming pool was located at an alternative hotel and was not very deep, we also thought when we booked that we would be in a busier area with more to do but that’s on us. We did travel quite far out to water parks for the children as they missed not having a pool suitable for teenagers.

The exceptional service, the indoor pool, the room and the atmosphere in the hotel was really great. The beach was also really nice and the beachbeds were free

the restaurant from the hotel, the food is not really good but also the staff was really slow and even tho there were no customers at the restaurant we still waited like 40min for drinks and they forgot about our dessert but put it on the bill and they walked passed us many times and didn’t even bother to serve us

The rooms and hotel were clean and tidy. The hotel had its own area at the beach. The set price for a taxi to the airport is convenient.

A minor comment is the hotel is a walk from the beach. The breakfast is acceptable. However, for a five star hotel we were expecting more, e.g. an omelette/ egg cooking station, pots of tea and / or mugs for tea, wider choice of fruit. A comment about the beach area (not the hotel area) is that there is a lot of rubbish/ trash on the beach at Lalez.

Couldn't have booked at a better time for what wee were looking for. The hotel was almost empty and despite that the staff were super attentive and catered to our every need. Extremely helpful for us getting around, having an early check in and late check out and just generally being great. The staff at the restaurant we brilliant and helpful in every way.

Unfortunately due to the timing the beach wasn't really in use but would have been nice if the deck chairs etc were still left out.

Very clean and polite staff. Though the staff at the restaurant and pool bar are not very attentive and need more training, the food was great and they are very polite. But when compared with Luxury Hotels, they lack experience in attending to guests needs. Most of them are young and very shy. But this is minor and it did not affect my great experience there.
