Exceptional hotel amenities clean food everything perfect locations Staff could do with some real training and less cross communication as I ordered a mineral water at bar when the young bar staff told me to pay it in cash I had to leave the pool area and go get my euros Lek to pay it in person and I then ordered a fresh village salad and paid it in total with the minerals water next morning check out the front reception lady told me I had unpaid fees for a minerals water I felt offended and confused 😕 I hope the owners of this gorgeous location take extra time to train the reception and bar staff . As it’s a shame as the place with its amenities it’s immaculate to the details their kitchen staff were amazing their cleaning staff were amazing it’s just a shame on the other staff need just a boost up I highly recommend staying here to anyone travelling to Vlora Albania 🇦🇱

The sea view picture on the booking.com does not match the reality. Currently, there is a new residential building being built in front of the lovely Ames Hotel. Some sea view still present.

I had such a wonderful stay at Ames in Vlora! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely lovely. They made me feel at home throughout my stay, always going out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The highlight for me was my birthday—completely unexpected, they surprised me with a freshly baked birthday cake! It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly the best part of my day. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a personal touch and heartfelt hospitality. Thank you for making my trip so special!

Nothing to complain about

the staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed was very comfortable and the location was great for the town and beach.

the only thing was the breakfast. although there was a very good continental breakfast, there was a habit of providing fried eggs which were all cooked at once and left to go cold on a plate. there were 2 days where the staff said it was “personal breakfast” and the eggs were cooked to order. going forward I would suggest they should always do this so that the eggs are still warm. I didn’t like to mention it at the time as the staff were so lovely but if they read the review, this may help future reviews.

The property was super modern and the pool area is amazing. The shower was really great. The air-conditioning worked really well. The balcony was really nice and spacious. The location is perfect and it’s amazing to have access to the sun-loungers on the beach.

The breakfast was good but lacked variety each day and sometimes it seemed like the food was there a long time. The bathroom was very small in our room with no surface space for toiletries/toothpaste etc. The new building in front of the view of the pool is annoying but not the fault of the hotel.

The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff were friendly. The sauna and steam room downstairs was a great bonus and we enjoyed using this in the evening. The hotel is based on the street behind the main sea front, meaning a quiet and comfortable nights sleep while being only a 5 minute walk from the beach front and many bars and restaurants. There was always a member of staff based on reception to help if needed.

The parking is a little cramped, but the staff handles this really well. The swimming pool on the rooftop is a nice bonus, though a little smaller than others we have visited.

We loved that the place only 3 min away from the beach (with sunbeds included for the hotel stay), main promenade and a food shop. The hotel had a very lovely pool with coffee and drinks bar on the top floor, so one can spend the day or just morning/afternoon there on the sunbeds and enjoy a nice drink or coffee. There was also a sauna and steam room which is a nice addition to the facilities, especially on the days of rain. Finally those egg chairs were a great addition to the balcony. I just wish there were at least two of them, so both parties can enjoy them. The staff was super helpful and very pleasant

The only thing which was not so great is the building works happening on the beach front line. They will possibly be finished by Mar'25 but will be blocking the beautiful see view

- The location is next to the beach. Like a 5 min walk from the promenade so lots of restaurants nearby - The room was large in size and had the jacuzzi tub which we used during our stay - The rooms were tastefully done and very clean - They had room service and the pasta was pretty decent - The rooftop bar was nice with a scenic view and also served Sheesha - Free parking

- The hotel had a small pool but it was too cold to get into, if the pool was heated this would be a 10 star rating - the hotel restaurant wasnt functional the first evening we arrived - Breakfast could be better - With construction coming up in front of the hotel, the sea view is kinda gone but nothing really the hotel can do about it

A comfortable hotel in a fairly good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast on a open terrace. Good parking in an area with high demand for parking. Just a short walk to the beach where the hotel has allocated sun beds. Lots of restaurants very close by. Beautiful sunsets.

Sea view not as expected due to new building developments. No kettle or coffee making facilities in the room.

Very new, modern, and clean. It is located one street back/parallel from the main beach boardwalk so it’s quieter than staying right on the strip. It’s a small hotel so it gives you a more personalized feel. The rooftop bar/lounge and pool are amazing and so relaxing. The pool is very clean and we enjoyed eating lunch poolside and having drinks later in the night. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The breakfast is lovely. There is a new building being constructed in front of the hotel but the noise does not affect your sleep, but yes you can see a large crane in front of the pool looking toward the ocean. It didn’t both us and we were very relaxed enjoying the ocean views from the pool. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Our large sliding window in our room was off its track and needed a repairman who wasn’t available during our stay, so it let some noise in but didn’t affect the air conditioning fortunately.
