The staff is excellent. I mean it. Their level of English is very high and with the groupsapp service of concierge they accommodate every need. Really. Every question. And when you are a woman travelling in a country where almost no one speaks English, that makes a big difference It has to be the most involved hotel team ever. Expecially Slavjo and Gabi, those are really excellent. The hotel is beautifully done with art all over. Very trendy and modern and superclean Another great point is the location. Is literally on the beach in a quiet area, Luanda is very busy. There are nice beach bars very close to the hotel where you can get the comforts of any beachbar in Europe . If you don't like unpersonal big hotels in the middle of the chaos with personnel who hardly knows your name, and you love boutique hotels , don't look further.

Nothing. I love it all. Being a young staff in a country who is starting with tourism just now, I see only points of improvements. The breakfast can lack variety and vegetables, and it's not restocked frequently. Little things in the housekeeping departments: More hangers in the closet, bathroom products, complimentary coffee pads (there is a coffee machine in every room but ..no coffee). Those are not criticisms by any means. It's just a young hotel with a young and enthousiastic staff. Those are just little things to be aware for western tourists used to some standards.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They helped organise taxis to various city attractions and assisted with exchanging currency. They are the highlight of the property.

The neighbourhood is a little dodgy and the smell of garbage when you walk outside is unpleasant. The rooftop bar was also being renovated during our stay so we had to go out to the nearby restaurants for drinks with a view.

Fantastic hotel 10 mins by taxi to the centre. Decorated by original artwork by local artists - all available to buy! Staff really helpful and knowledgeable. Sourced a local guide for us who was invaluable. The staff also helped us once we’d left Angola as the airline lost our luggage, which was then mistakenly sent to the wrong airport. Great food in house and also close to decent restaurants. Highly recommend.

Loved the art all over in this house.

Breakfast was disappointing. Sometimes not even coffee was there. We had to beg for getting plates, knifes and pretty much everything. We stayed in two different rooms. (2 stays) One bed was a nightmare. Noisy and worn out... I suggest to book the bigger suites. They are very nice and the beds are more than Okay.

It is an exceptionally good place. A wonderful decor with art, excellent service (including breakfast), being located next to the beach and being one of the cheapest hotels in town! A true miracle!

Nothing. I can only suggest further improvement: for example to have touristic offer for visitors. For example I learnt about a sister hotel of this one in Cabinda only the day I left the hotel.

The staff was super friendly, the location and the art! A lot of fruit served for the breakfast! But the staff is really a great asset for the hotel, Renee, Mateus, Dom and Mujoco are super helpful and always there to communicate. It's just in front of the beach and near lookal and cafe del mar.

Perfect location directly on the beach. Very beautiful terrace with 360 view. Nice rooms. The staff was just so friendly and helpful. WhatsApp group so you can easily reach out to reception any time with any question. For goof breakfast for this money.. you could even order the omelet. Next time I will definitely stay there again

Nice small Hotel on Ilha opposite the beach. Personal is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are simple but clean. Rooftop terrace with interesting view towards town and the beaches. Few own guarded parking spots available. Good area to make sports. City center is easy to reach.

The Art House hotel is superb. From the amazing staff, to the comfortable rooms, excellent meals (I ate breakfast and dinner every day of my 7-day stay) and the interior design with its eclectic collection of local art (all of which is available for purchase) - this hotel is a true gem. Highly recommended by someone who has lived full-time in hotels for more than 10 years now.
