The Hotel is fantastic clean, rooms big, with comfortable bed and big wardrobe. The breakfast is amazing. In addition to the continental breakfast is possibile to eat special local dishes. The use of the swimming pool and the close bar is free. The personnel in service is very kind. The Hotel is in the heart of Luanda very close to the marginal and the mall "Shopping Fortaleza". A special thank to Mrs Azevedo that helped me due to a flight cancellation. Congratulation to all the staff.

I have stayed the the Tropico Hotel before. it has good facilities, and it is easy to stroll around town

the hotel is very nice. the rooms are comfortable, the facilities are very good. It’s a great business traveler hotel.

it is very expensive with prices 50% more than in New Zealand. The most annoying thing is that they offer no credit to guests. one has to pay up front for everything. I found this meant I used the minimum service at the hotel.

Check in process was HORRIBLE. They said our reservation was canceled and we had to pay their rate instead of booking.com. We felt scammed

The rooms and showers were extremely comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful

The dinner was extremely expensive, they charged me KWZ 3600 (US$ 8.00) for each bottle and water and on my bill there was 2 off when I only had one. I brought it to their attention and instead of reimbursing me I was given a bottle of water. Plus the bread etc given first was not complimentary and I was charged for this. The meals etc. are very expensive.

The gym is excellent with a wide variety of machines etc. The pool with it's bar is really nice to relax afterwards, every night they display the best sports that's on.

Payments are a disaster, as a foreigner it's hardly possible to get a refund even when you well deserve it. They charged me double for my first day, and they didn't had any money at their credit card machine. I had to weight even until after my check out before they refunded. Also charging your room is not possible when you would like to pay by check out.
