Beautiful facilities. Also right beside the valley church beach which is my preferred beach on the island because of how shallow the beach is for several feet into the beach. If you don’t want to swim but want to enjoy the beach. This is the best beach to go to

I felt discriminated against because I am black from both the staff at the restaurant and fellow guest. Staff at the restaurant clearly treated white guest much better in terms of service. I initially thought that is how black visitors are treated on the island but when I went out of the resort, I was glad that was not the case

This is a very relaxing and peaceful resort. Food was good and the view is spectacular. Best view I've ever had on any resort vacation hands down. The deluxe cottage with pool was amazing. The floating breakfast is unbeatable and very romantic. We loved every bit of our vacation. This resort is a must stay and deluxe pool cottage with ocean view is the best.

Only thing I didn't like was there are no TVs in the cottages. I brought my laptop with me and logged onto the wifi to watch a few movies and TV shows. I do understand why there are no Tvs because it's so peaceful and relaxing without.

Staff is very professional, accommodating, and friendly. The grounds and facilities are well kept. The vibe is very laid back and quiet. Entertainment at night was in point, really good Entertainment.

They could could more variety of foods in between the 3 core dining times.

Breakfast/lunch/dinner choices were good. Menu changing daily. Staff was very friendly, chatty and efficient. Liked the Carolling event on the 22nd....

Booked our room with plunge pool based on the picture on the booking.com website.(see picture) right in front of the cottage. We ended up with a very cold, uninviting plunge pool somewhere on the side (see picture) Lower pool became a bit cloudy during the week, maybe needed some upkeep... Beach access beyond the bar could benefit from a facelift,

We booked this because it wasn’t a big brand and it was off the beaten path - and it did not disappoint. It’s not a full service 4-star hotel - be prepared to do some things for yourself. The villa was great, the staff was AMAZING. The food was well curated. Venture out to some local spots for some variety. Could not have asked for a better week of rest and relaxation.

The booze selection could have been more high end.

NO WATER IN ROOMS. Had to walk long distances across the resort to get any drinking water, then the drinking pump machine was down for a couple of days. It should be MANDATORY for a hotel at this price to have water in the fridge every time the room is cleaned or set up for a new guest. VERY BIG HOLE in the set up in our opinion.

We had a wonderful stay at Cocobay Resort. The property is truly beautiful — it overlooks two stunning beaches, and the garden is lush and immaculately maintained. The rooms are simple yet charming and very comfortable, with one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on. A special thank you to Kem for the warm welcome and thoughtful care throughout our stay, and to Ives, who was incredibly helpful and supportive upon our arrival. Their kindness really made a difference. The food was a pleasant surprise: contrary to some of the reviews we had read, we found it well-prepared and enjoyable. As an Italian, I can say the meals were above expectations — especially breakfast, which was excellent. Hats off to the chef for the perfect scrambled eggs every morning! The location is ideal — central enough to explore the island easily, and with postcard-worthy views in every direction. Another thing we appreciated was the general atmosphere at the resort: it’s well frequented, with lovely, respectful guests, which added to the sense of peace and quality time. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, and the overall energy is relaxed and welcoming. One little note — and I say this with a smile — the Friday night “pizza” is something else entirely. But hey, I’m Italian… I might be a little picky on that front! 😄 All in all, a fantastic experience, and we would absolutely recommend Cocobay Resort for a peaceful, beautiful, and well-managed Antiguan escape.

We loved the relaxed romantic environment. Having your own little cottage with a private pool with ocean view made the stay absolutely perfect for us. We were looking for a nice quiet getaway and Cocobay was a great choice. They also don’t rush you out when you checkout which was very nice and kept us relaxed. Additionally, I was able to get my morning workouts in at the little gym which is something that is important to me when I travel and most of the other comparable resorts do not have a gym. The yoga class was also very good and we didn’t have a bad meal.

There wasn’t really anything I did not like about the resort and would definitely come back. The only inconvenient thing was that the waiters often forgot to bring your drinks and the liquor is not high end (no grey goose or Tito’s) which was fine for me since I don’t drink too much. I got the feeling they didn’t want to encourage people to act a fool. Also, the local people on the beach can be a bit annoying when they pressure you every hour to either buy something or rent a jet ski. This didn’t ruin our trip but I have been to other resorts where this is not the case.

The resort was small, quiet, and very relaxing. Although the food portions were on the smaller side, the staff is very accommodating, sweet, and made the experience exceptional. It was our first time in Antigua and definitely want to go back due to the positive experience at the resort.

Food selection was limiting. LIghting and the numbering conventions for the cottages could have been better. If it were an older couple, they would have difficulty seeing as it wasn't the best lighted around the cottages. It's super bug-gy, so bring bug spray as we get super bit up by mosquitoes.

Everything was amazing! The food was delicious and the menu changed every night. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We had the premium romance combo and would recommend it. Massage was amazing, floating breakfast in the room was a great addition to our honeymoon as was the private dinner. We experienced a storm on one day and the staff dealt with this fantastically to still create a great experience for guests. The ground staff worked so hard to get the grounds back to perfection after the storm had stopped!

Often not enough towels ready for guests in the morning. Our Private dinner was 30 minutes last but this could have been due to potential bad weather and the service made up for it.
