The room was updated with a beautiful comfortable bed and decor. The towels were fluffy and lovely bed linen. Even 3ply toilet paper in the bathrooms. The finishing touches was lovely presenting the soaps on a washer in the shape of a flower. We travelled as two couples and the Manager was most apologetic that she was unable to upgrade both couples. The smaller room was well appointed but small. The upgraded room was very large with two queen beds and a dining setting for 4.

The only negative was the smaller room had rising damp on one of the walls but it was still very comfortable and had a nice smell to the room. Parking was a bit tight if you had a high 4WD in some places.

The Border Motel has a beautiful decorated room. A gorgeous comfortable blue chair and was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern, light and lots of soaps, body wash, hair products, etc. Reasonably small size but very usable with most things I wanted.

The kettle was unusable as it had a build up of something inside (probably lime from the water) but though I washed inside it multiple times, it still had floaties which I didn’t want in a cup of tea. The parking is good (right outside my door) but by dark there were so many cars behind mine, I couldn’t get out. Some had moved by the time I wanted to leave, but I still had difficulties reversing out.

Loved the lady on checkin and the beautiful smell when we walked in. The rooms were lovely and clean and the location was excellent. Best place to stay close to the best pub in town in our opinion

Didn't like that the early morning cleaning staff sat outside our rooms smoking and drinking coffee and on their phones in our space that we would have liked to enjoy a cuppa outside our rooms. Not only were they taking our outdoor table and chairs they were blowing smoke everywhere and we had our doors open and had to put up with that and couldn't use our own outside space

The owner/manager was very welcoming, friendly and generous. eg offered us as much milk and water as we would like (rare we found out!!) The room was tastefully decorated and extremely clean and comfortable. The mattress and bed linen was all good quality which we appreciate. Helpful with suggestions on where to dine. The owners froze our ice bricks for our travel cooler - so kind to do the little extras.

I know space costs, but the room just felt a bit too small for 2 people with a few items of luggage. Would have loved a Queen bed, but it would not have fitted in that room.

The room had an interior design feel with a perfectly made up bed and stylish cushions. Topped off with a plush velvet armchair It was very clean and comfortable and clearly a fan favourite as the motel was booked. The towels are large and fluffy. The best thing too about checking in is the friendly welcome along with the fridge with water and milk. Take as many bottles as you like!

The pillows were too hard but that’s a personal thing. Also the hair dryer is one of those attached to the wall.

One key appears to open other rooms at the motel as well, our key opened the room next to ours. Why we accidentally opened the room next door to ours on arrival. I opened the door and got a shock it had bags etc not ours. Then about 11pm a chap who was staying in the room next to ours actually opened our door when we were sleeping and it was differently locked. He was very apologetic and shocked after he opened our door and realised he was not in his motel room. I believe he was there fighting fires in NSW at the time and was getting back to the motel late. To say it was a coincidence I would say not, I believe one key will open a number of doors if not all at this motel. Apart from this everything was excellent.

This is our second stay here and very clean, comfortable, maybe slightly dated bathroom, but functional. Beds are a little soft, but really comfy, and great pillows. Excellent food within walking distance in both directions, and a great variety as well.

Really nothing. If I had to be critical, I'd say the bathrooms are a little dated, but still functional. Oh and the last few rooms don't have parking that's under cover, but the excellent staff are willing to work with you if you have a good car and try to get you under cover parking

We booked very last minute and the reception team were so friendly and very welcoming. We were offered bottles of water which were complimentary and muchly appreciated (it was extremely hot). The room was very clean and functional - there was a small table and 2 x chairs as well so we could sit and have something to eat. The complimentary toiletries were lovely and included a shave kit plus body lotion and hair products. The decor was soft and warm - overall it was lovely. There was lots of choice too with the tea and coffee that was provided. The motel was walking distance to restaurants which was great. Also included undercover parking.

Nothing really - everything was lovely. Our only suggestion was that there were outdoor settings (table and 2 x chairs) in front of some of the rooms which was lovely. We used one of these settings to have our morning cuppa that was in front of one of the other rooms as that was where it was situated- not sure if this was something that came with that particular room or if they were shared? Also, this is just personal preference, but our bed was quite soft - as my husband has a bad back he found this a bit uncomfortable but if you don't have this issue it isn't a problem at all.

Perfect location. Located at one end of a beautiful main street. Walking distance to everything you need. The motel room has a super comfy bed and beautiful decor. Staff were fantastic, very welcoming and nothing is a problem. Also the little touches of “real milk” for your tea/coffee and bottles of water that is complimentary for your entire stay.

This room was surprisingly nice. The bed was sooo comfortable and the mini oreo condiments were such a treat. The cafe out the front was nice and pizza shop on the corner delicious. The staff were lovely too.

Room had a cake of soap left from the last guest on top of the shower. Needs some sort of shelf in the shower. Cars from other guests idelling outside can unfortunately be clearly heard from within the room
