We give this Gem Motel 5 stars! Couldn't fault our stay, we felt as though we were staying in a 5 star hotel in a high rise on the coast. Coffee machine, kitchenette, full mini bar modern bedding to go with this very comfy bed (soft) and a big bathroom. Location is good for travellers in and out of town, very safe and secure carpark. We needed a late checkin and it was no hassle to have our keys left out in the safe with perfect instructions to our room. Thanks again Country Roads Motel we will be back!

It's next to a 24hr McDonald's which is beside a BP service station. And they're across the road from a car wash and subway restaurant. The bed was comfy and the room and amenities were very clean. Staff helped me out when I had to book online for a late check in (11pm). No problems or issues for my overnight stay. We were back on the road by 6am the next morning.

The only issue wasn't the motels fault, but the in car navigation which tried to send us across a vacant lot from the street behind it. Wasn't hard to figure out to go back around to the main road though.

We stayed her for 2 nights as a family of 5 (2 adults 3 kids). We had two rooms with a connecting door. It met our expectations. We didn't have much to do with staff because we checked in late and checked out early. We came home to our rooms cleaned beautifully which I didn't expect when we raced out the door before 6am for a whole day event with children. Its a motor inn not 5 star accommodation but i've rated it 10/10 for what it is!

I had never been to Gundy before. This inn was great… quiet rooms, like sound proof almost! I came for the races that day and a bus wS supposed to come collect people … we were waiting longer than one should so the owner, a friendly older gentleman said, I have room for the first 4… I wax the 1st then 3 other young ladies… he drove us right through the gates… super kind… loved my first experience the lovely town!

Despite being on the highway and beside the McDonald's drive through, the room was super quiet. The BEST shower I've had in an accommodation facility in a long time, just like home. The motel boasts a restaurant and complimentary kitchen/laundry facilities for guests. House keeping staff were friendly and helpful. The owners/managers have the grounds looking lovely. My favourite touch, the friendly motel cats!

While kitchen and laundry facilities were available for complimentary use, they were not particularly inviting. A good clean in this space would be beneficial. A 'housekeeping not needed' sign would have been useful for those of us doing a long stay.

Everything! Great location sitting just off the Highway. Pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the bed was and everything clean and tidy. Love the wall mounted shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Very nice touch.

Booking.com offered $20 breakfast however there was no breakfast menu? No breakfast menu provided in room.

Everything was clean, and it smelt so amazing as you entered your room. It has a great shower, comfy bed and a nice quiet air-conditioner. Nice quiet area, so I got a good sleep. Very comfortable space great size room. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was perfect for dinner.

Unit was larger than the usual motel unit, and it made for a much more comfortable stay. There was room for a decent lounge, a table, and 4 chairs. Bathroom was small, but functional.

Restaurant was disappointing. Macca's drive through only a few metres away made for interrupted sleep. Overnight roadworks immediately outside the truck stop next door could have been a problem, but wasn't.

Clean rooms. Basic but all we needed

I wasn’t aware of the gates locking in the car park and barely made it in time and other friends were locked out. A sign on the gate and in the rooms would be a good idea .

I would recommend this motel to anyone, it was tastefully decorated, had a coffee pod machine, quiet, and very comfortable with an added bonus of looking out the windows to see the chickens happily pecking around. The food in the restaurant was great.
