There is no option for breakfast, but that is normal in most motels today , however a small kitchenette with sink would allow for self catering , we had actually ducked down to shopping centre to purchase a couple of bowls/small plates/cutlery & was seen by manager , who told us just to go to motel office where a tray with those items could be delivered to our room. This was cheerfully done. The room was clean, medium sized with a third bed , warm bedding & reverse cycle heating meant a cosy stay. Would definitely stay here again. The number of pubs & a good bakery meant we had plenty of lunch & dinner options.

Only the lack of small sink.

Of all the properties we stayed in throughout our two week driving holiday, this was by far the best motel. Everything was clean and in very good condition. The linen and towels were of a very high quality. The policy of the management in not taking payment until their travellers actually arrived is refreshing and the personable and friendly manner of the manager was much appreciated.

The only VERY MINIMAL issue we experienced was the lack of soundproofing between the units. We had some young men in the room next to us who were fine and actually knocked on our door to check that their music was not too loud (and it wasn’t), but being young men with deep voices, we did hear a fair bit of their conversation and laughter until they retired about 10am. They were however doing nothing untoward.

We arrived really late after checkin closed but the staff were really proactive in contacting us to confirm and organise paying by card. Key was left in easy to find location. We were out early in the morning so didn’t explore the property at all, location or surrounds. The bathroom had been recently renovated and was really lovely. It’s unexpected for similar style accomodation we have stayed in. The little kitchenette was well stocked. Beds were comfy and clean and we had a great sleep.

Nothing.

We stayed in room 12 in early August. It was a little cold in the mornings, but the heating worked well, so no issues. The shower was hot and the bed was comfy. Access to streaming services and cable was great and the Wifi signal was strong. Easy walking access to pubs and restaurants. We've stayed here before and it's our 'go to' accommadation for Goondiwindi. The staff/owners are very helpful and friendly.

Not much to recommend. Maybe a bigger TV when the time comes to replace the existing units.

The motel was easy to find, the location was excellent. There were quite a few options to dine out nearby. We went to the pub just down the street. For breakfast the next morning we only had to walk across the road for breakfast. If you like a walk the river is just a few streets over with a good walking path, just avoid mosquito times or wear repellent.

The air conditioner was a bit noisy but wasn't really a problem.

Property was clean very, beds were comfy and the location was convenient for either a Chinese meal, pizza or a good old pub meal which we chose and was excellent. Safe secure location and our car was parked outside our door. We had late check in staff could not be more helpful the heater was put in for us and was beautiful and warm. We will definitely return and highly recommend

The motel was in a great location, a short walk to eateries. We walked across the road to the hotel for dinner which was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. It had a couch plus small table and chairs, we had breakfast in the room as it had toaster, microwave etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice and quiet.

There was really nothing about the room that upset me

Super quiet, no road noise at all. Clean and tidy. Spacious. On-site laundry. Loved that there was a smart TV so could watch Netflix etc. Would definitely recommend, and come back again if I’m ever in the area.

Very minor - the fridge wasn’t turned on, but there had been milk left in it for me - I did manage to pull it out and turn it on (and throw away the milk) so no harm from that, and it worked great and kept everything cold all night.

Comfortable bed, nice shower, quiet even though on main road. We were a bit concerned to start with as we could hear the other people in the rooms either side but by 10:00pm all was quiet.

There wasn’t anything I did not like. The only very minor negative was the fridge didn’t have a freezer which for us is important as we always have freezer packs to keep our food cold during our 8-10hr drives on our trips between Adelaide and Brisbane.

The owners were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. They also gave us great suggestions for where to eat. Motel room was very clean and tidy and was surprisingly quiet considering it was located on the main street. It was a short walk to quite a few dining options and the cinema.

We had stayed here a few days earlier and had no problems but this time the room was full of mosquitos. Maybe the cleaners left the door open while they cleaned and let them in. Otherwise a great stay.
