I travel a lot between Melbourne and Adelaide, and I'm starting to tire of 9 hours on the road, plus I like to leave later in the day to get things done before I leave home. Keith Motor Inn is become a regular stop on my journey toward Adelaide. Firstly, it's a great motel and great value. The rooms are fresh and modern, with new and clean bathrooms with great hot water, a generous kitchenette for meal prep and food storage, and I always love an electric blanket in a motel! Plus, their automated system means checking in is a breeze if you're a late arriver like me, and the owners and staff are all super friendly! Highly recommend a stopover on your next trip!

Spacious room with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Awesome to have a coffee pod machine, instead of just sachets of coffee. Owners have done a wonderful job of sound proofing the rooms with double glazing windows and sound proof walls. Excellent block-out curtains. Huge bathroom with a few added extra's in the toiletries, including a toothbrush and paste! Sitting area for smokers out the front of the room.

Quite a distance from the centre of town for someone without a vehicle, who has to walk. And, due to no fault of their own, Keith doesn't have a Taxi service. So getting to and from the local pub for Dinner was a challenge.

It was the first stop on our trip from Adelaide to Melbourne. It was easy to find and although just off the main road it was a quiet night. Breakfast was ok - Museli and toast. No cooked option available. Amenities in room were good - beds, sofa, table. All very clean.

Information from the owner as to the whereabouts of places to eat could have been better. He mentioned a pub but didn't really have any other info on where it was or if it was walking or car distance. We found a good cafe attached to the petrol station that seemed to be open all night and provided excellent food. Good for one night's stay.

The cleaner of this motel must be a perfectionist. It was spotless. The room was spacious and modern. I have seen comments where people complained about the noise from trains and highway. We did not experience any issues. A train went through town around 9pm and was pretty quiet, I thought. Didn't hear another till around 7.30am (I was already awake). No train whistles. Highway noise was very minor as well.

The sink wasn't in the bathroom, but this wasn't a deal breaker at all, just a little different. Everything was spot on but the man at reception was very nutural. Didn't make any small talk and wasn't too forthcoming with information when I asked about facilities around town. He was fine, just not very engaging in conversation.

re question on expectations, one never really knows when staying at any motel. Perhaps more so in the country. But my experience started so well when I visited reception on my way to a nearby town. I was briefed on what room I had and how to access. Arrived back that evening and entered what was a fantastic room to walk into. Spotless, beds with crisp white sheets and bed well made. Hot water important on cold night and morning. Excellent tv with many channels and great reception. The usual tea/coffee etc, with mini bar and treats also available. I felt right at home on my one night stay. Have already told numerous friends and thoroughly recommended. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were travelling with our granddaughters 6 & 3 years old. We had a family room and it was just the best. Girls had a separate room with a TV. Perfect for when we needed some downtime after long hours on the road. The room was well appointed and exceptionally clean. We have an electric car and they had plenty of charging facilities. This was an absolute winner for us. Well done Keith Motor Inn. Such a nice place to stay. We will be back.

We loved everything!!

Having stayed here a few years ago for work and I was very pleasantly surprised at the improvements that have recently occurred. I stayed in a king suite which seemed to be new, very tastefully decorated and furnished, great little kitchen area, good TV and reception as well as a little outside courtyard area. Breakfast and EV chargers are now available too Congratulations to the owners who have really made big improvements here.

The traffic noise is inevitable but it did not worry me.

For a motor Inn, the room was exceptionally clean. Mattress was good and firm. Sheets were clean without those nasty stains. Carpet was clean with no stains. Room was supplied with complimentary coffee, tea. There was a microwave in the room along with a toaster! It was clear they made improvements to an old property but they are in the right direction. Each electrical appliances also has a tag with a test date and next year date and signed with the owners name - I have never seen that before in a motel or motor Inn where we've stayed. It shows the level of responsibility of the owners.

The shower curtains could be longer

Check in system very easy for weary travellers. Very clean rooms and well equiped for all our necessities. Quieter sleep than we expected, with minimal noise from the highway.

We stayed on our way through to Melbourne and again on our way home to South Australia. Our only criticism would be - On both occasions the bathroom towels were so cold, they almost felt damp. Not pleasant to use.
