My wife and I really enjoyed the quiet nature of the property and the beautiful presentation of the house. Property access was very clear and signage easy to read. The gardens around the property were beautifully maintained, it was lovely to enjoy our morning coffee. The snacks and breakfast items that were included were excellent. We had a fantastic stay and absolutley will be back.

Ken and Sandra are meticulous hosts and very attentive to all details and amenities. We had a wonderful overnight stay at the cottage, which was pre-heated in anticipation of our arrival. The cottage is spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable, with a lovely outlook onto the country property. Breakfast provisions were thoughtful and generous, and the shower was blissfully hot and strong! We would love to stay longer on our next visit.

There is nothing that we didn't love about the property, it was perfect for our needs.

The location was far enough out of the town of Bordertown without being too far away, which was great after a long drive. The peace and quiet of the place was beautiful, making it a great stop over for winding down.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about this property. It had everything I needed and was well appointed. If I'm going to be picky, a bath tub and fireplace would have been perfect, but I can live without those things for one night!!

Great communication pre arrival. Fab place to stay so quiet, with lovely gardenss, well equipped, warm and cotton sheets!. Lovely breakfast with choice of cereals, fruit juice toast, preserves, teas and plunger coffee. We were asked our preference for bread at breakfast which was a lovely touch. Very nice shampoos and conditioners too. Can't fault this accommodation and we won't hesitate to book again as great spot to break the drive from Melbourne to Adelaide.

Nothing. A night light in the living room could be a useful addition. It is dark in the country as there is no light pollution which we, as townies are not used to!

Good range and quality of continental breakfast provisions. Good facilities. Host verified types of bread preferences and turned on the heater before our arrival. Great quiet location, plenty of space inside and out, A short drive to town with restaurants and other facilities.

There was a new WIFI provider, but a password was not found and could not be obtained as yet.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Mapperley en route from Adelaide to Melbourne. The property is located a short distance from Bordertown township and very close to the golf course. It is meticulously presented and well appointed. We appreciated the extra touches such as the cheese platter and the heater turned on prior to our arrival, as well as the clear communication from the hosts. It was a much more pleasant experience than staying in a motel and we would love to make a return visit sometime!

We booked this for an overnight stop due to to location (half way stop from Melbourne to Adelaide) but we're so impressed we will definetly return for a longer stay. Great breakfast supplies, ammenities and plenty of room to move and dog freindly too. Modern fitout with everything you could need for a great stay. Garden/farm outlook set a truly relaxing atmosphere.

No secure outdoor area/yard for dog, but huge space to wander on a lead.

Dog Friendly - Lovely quiet country setting with garden - every need / amenity thought of

Although there is plenty of room to roam for our dogs, I would have preferred an 'enclosed' secure area or yard as I was concerned our dogs might likely bolt if they saw any livestock

It's on a postcard country lane with gum trees from a Hans Heysen painting. Beautiful garden. Very spacious. Spotlessly clean. The perfect distance away from the town centre and the main highway to feel you are out in the countryside but still close enough to have the town conveniences one needs.
