The house was exceptionally clean and the kitchen much better equipped than any of the many places we've stayed. What's more the house is spacious and cool. Miraculous when it's over 30 degrees outside.

The bedrooms do not have double glazing. Freight trains run through the night (not many), but huge lorries pass the property continuously during the night. It's noisy! If you need to use both of the 2 bedrooms make sure to ask for 2 beds to be made up. We assumed this would be automatic and it wasn't.

Loved the location easy walk to shops. Sitting outside the front porch watching the trucks and trains go by. A lovely comfortable home with great lounge chairs to sit in. Great to have electric blankets on the beds. Safe and secure undercover parking available.

The chairs in the dinning room were not high enough for table had to put a cushion on chair to make it easier to sit and eat.

Everything you could need was included. Wendy has a homely B&B that is comfortable and well set out. The beds were very comfortable and warm, even in August! The lounge was great for hanging out, fitted with a heater. The dining table was great for playing games, and the kitchen had everything you could need.

Honestly? There was nothing to fault.

A wonderful stay with children. Private, Spacious, comfortable, great location and very clean. I love the painting of two cows in the room.

It was beautifully decorated but I wasn’t fan of Plastic plants deco and perfume. Dry flowers and plants and natural scent might be better.

The location was fantastic right in the middle of the town. Coffee shop/cafe just across the road. The house is immaculate and very comfortable, you feel right at home. Definately a quality and superior B & B cottage. Absolutely will be returning and this time for a longer stay. Have recommended it to friends travelling.

This delightful cottage is right in the heart town and provided everything I needed for an overnight stay. Immaculately presented with high-quality fixtures and fittings, this cottage is a modern take on country style, with all the comforts of home. Friendly hosts, easy to find, contactless check in/out and some lovely touches, especially the two cheeky cows! Highly recommended for those needing a base for a longer stay.

Really nice holiday home, very clean and extremely well set up. Wendy really knows what she is doing. Comfortable bed, nicely furnished, lots of goodies left out for breakfast and snacks, good location right in town but no close neighbours only businesses around. No hesitation to recommend this place and we will be back.

A beautiful cottage with everything you could think of and more. Very comfortable and a nice breakfast hamper provided on the first day.

Everything OK

Location was fantastic as it was the half point on our journey to SA. Unfortunately it was not available on the return trip. Will certainly be booking in for both ways next trip!! Very clean and comfortable home is stay in over night. Everything supplied that you need. Meals available at the local hotel one street away, how convenient is that!
