An older style motel but nicely updated rooms - with excellent facilities good heating/cooling - VERY efficient A/C heating on a 4 degree night and electric blankets a SUPER bonus - bed was very comfortable, nice lounge settee, Shower and Toilet excellent plenty of hot water and sufficient towels. I will definitely be staying here again next time I am in Burra, This motel accommodation is good value for money and better in some ways than other and more expensive places I have stayed in while in Burra SA Area was so quiet and peaceful

There was a Toaster but I could not find any cutlery - it would be helpful if along side the toilet on the wall there be a grab rail getting off the toilet seat for older people (like me) can be difficult and a sturdy grab rail in the shower. "Australia has an aging population and business owners have to start thinking about their customers and basic needs" like GRAB RAILS in some rooms in addition to any disabled accommodation

Our stay at Burra Motor Inn was nothing short of wonderful. The room was immaculately clean and tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, with a picturesque creek and vibrant birdlife just steps away from our back door veranda. One of the highlights was the internet access on the TV, which allowed us to log into our streaming sites easily, along with the added bonus of Foxtel. We were also pleasantly surprised by the well-stocked tea and coffee making facilities and the fresh milk in the fridge. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we would highly recommend Burra Motor Inn for a serene and comfortable stay.

Nothing - it was perfect!

Checkin was quick and easy with our receipt already printed out. The building was lovely with grapevines along the front and back verandahs. We could park right outside the door. The location was great, backing onto a creek, and it was close to main attractions. The bed was comfy and big and had bedside tables on each side. The aircon was efficient. The WiFi was good quality. The milk provided was in a bottle not a (squirty) tetrapack. Roomy shower.

Few PowerPoints and none on either side of the bed to charge our phones. No shower caps provided. Cracks in shower tiles. Some visible stains on the carpet (but it was clean). Not much vanity space.

The Spacious living room, comfortable Bed and bathroom 🪥 setting with a shower 🚿 area with lots of space. I liked the view of the Burra Creek running past the back door 🚪 and 3 Ducks waddling past! I really liked the Motel being close to the Town Centre in Burra .

Not meeting the Hosts in person, Old carpets with rips and stains. I didn't like the Air Conditioner blowing hot 🥵 air during the evening..

The room is roomy and comfortable with good facilities. Very comprehensive prior communication made check-in easy and efficient. Information was also provided on restaurants and things to see in Burra. The in-house restarurant has an interesting menu, for which booking in advance is encouraged, but see later comments on this.

We had not booked the in-house restaurant in advance as we could not commit to an exact time of arrival. On arrival we saw the interesting in-house menu and expressed interest in eating there. We were told the in-house restaurant had space for us if we waited, which we did. However, we were not told that most of the items on the in-house menu would not available by the time we sat down. If we had known in advance we could have gone somewhere else in Burra to eat.

Centraly located in Burra, within walking distance of the main street. Very good basic accomodation with an easy checking in proceedure.

Nothing of significance. If I was to pick, maybe the beds could be a little better and for our second night our small milk bottle wasn't replaced.

The room was spacious and well fitted out with basic fridge/microwave and kettle. My view was exceptional as it took in the river. A charming group of resident ducks came calling quite often. I especially found the room quiet. I couldn’t hear my neighbours unless they were outside.

It was fine. It was basic and comfortable.

The location is great. Close to everything. The room was very clean. Very spacious. Nice outlook on to the creek.

The reverse cycle air conditioner was very noisy and doesn't work on very cold evenings and mornings. Bed a little too hard. Restaurant was closed.

I've been back numerous times to this motel. The owners are amazingly efficient, professional, and friendly. I'll be coming back many more times in the near future. The rooms are always clean, quiet, and close to town. I love how they love their town so much that they let you know of all the attractions and eateries before your stay so I can plan ahead. This is my favourite motel when travelling for work.

Would be ideal if it was better lit for travelling workers, but that's barely an issue.

Comfortable Accommodation. Large modern room. Great position and a good location close to Clare vineyards. Very historic little town with lots of quirky shops and coffee shops.

Air conditioning on/off all night, hopefully can be fixed. No WiFi, fault of ISP not Motel. Note: Pool and restaurant closed temporarily
