Our second night we had a room at the front with a balcony which was really lovely, loads of space and a great bathroom. Recently refurbished I think so felt like everything was nice and new. Food in the restaurant was plentiful if not overly exciting but good value. Great coffee & happy hour beers were very good! The reception staff were great at getting us an early room switch for our second night.

Our first night of the stay was in one of the ‘motel’ style rooms at the back as the hotel was full. In need of an update which I think was planned. Very dated and not overly clean in some areas, particularly the strange walkway out the back!

The room was clean, tidy and the bed was comfortable. Like a hotel you could only access the room with an access card/key. Our room was on the ground level and we could park right outside our room. The parking was gated, only accessible to guests with an access card. The restaurant/bar area was accessible via the front or via a path/passageway from the rooms. The restaurant meals were generous. A highlight for me was the Ceduna whiting, I had it on both days once crumbed and once grilled, I love seafood.

Clean basic room. Slept well. Good wifi. Securely gated for parking and moving from room to restaurant/bar. Strong staff presence in restaurant/bar/gaming room. Meals were great and very good value - included salad/vege bar. View from restaurant made for a great opportunity to relax and dine. (no view from basic accommodation). Across from park, wharf and netted swimming. Close to shops. Stayed an extra night.

Would have loved an onsite pool but jumped into the netted swimming area across the road.

We stayed for one night and it is a comfortable room, nice and clean and good to have after a long drive. The bed was good, as were the pillows. We really enjoyed the bistro/bar attached to the motel. The meals were fresh and of good quality, with a salad/vege bar to help yourself. Good blockout curtains as well in the room. Very good value though, and staff very friendly.

Whilst the room is not old, the bathroom layout is clumsy, with no sink in the toilet. You have to wash your hands in the sink located in the kitchenette area. Not the best. No hairdryer provided as well which is unusual these days.

Room was comfortable. Excellent service. Room service was great. but the room service menu only allowed the ability to order a dozen Oysters Kilpatrick.

Access to my room was difficult due to it being surrounded by the fence. Wasn't able to order Oysters Kilpatrick by the dozen via room service, so had to order two half dozens instead which is more expensive. Drink vending machine at the back of rooms was empty.

Room - a bit larger than last time. Aircon was on for our arrival which was great coming in from a 39 degree Celsius (102F) day of travelling from WA border. All was well presented and clean. Security - Room doors were secure with positive engagement of locks on leaving the room or securing for the night. Parking of cars within a secure compound was a plus. Thank you. Restaurant - close to the room complex but far enough away and contained for quiet rest and security for guests and their vehicles. Menu options were enjoyable and access to fully staffed bar and restaurant facilities was a plus. The view out to the water and jetty just added to the relaxing experience. Continental breakfast was included which offered choices of raisin, wholemeal or white bread for toast, cereals, preserved fruits, yoghurt and fruit juices. Plus instant coffee and tea. There are options for cooked breakfast and barista coffee but the convenience of the continental breakfast was outstanding.

There is nothing that I could say I didn’t like. It is not our home. But the staff made our visit enjoyable.

Most everything we have stayed here often and never had a problem but this time we did.

The receptionist had a problem with booking.com and put us upstairs which were concrete steep stairs we are elderly so it was risky we checked in at a decent time 3:30pm in the afternoon but she said there were no booking.com rooms left downstairs only one room downstairs was taken at the time. We also had the worst seafood platter $100 we have ever had but the staff in the restaurant were kind as always. We have always stayed here and it has always been great but not so good this time I think they have changed hands. The receptionist said there would not be a breakfast included in the future.

comfy. clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. great view of the jetty from the balcony. Asked for breakfast wraps to be made especially for us as we were leaving early and couldn't have a sit down. they were happy to oblige.

Shower needs fixing. Sprays in all direction. No good if you don't want your hair wet ( female) or a stream of water in your eye or mouth. Water also leaks out onto the floor through screen and make the tiled floor a slip hazard. Mat supplied not big enough to cover the puddled area.

Bed was comfortable, room was located upstairs with lift access available. Meal was great ordered a seafood platter for 1 that was enough for 2 people, I was going to order some additional oysters but platter was sufficient for the two.

Could hear occupant next door snoring, I think they were just really loud, no traffic noise from outside as room was facing beach.

STAFF was great, incl the Bistro staff who completed the room service on the first stay!! Bistro, dinner and breakfast was good value as well!!

Nothing much to dislike, other than I lost my glasses (left in the Bistro area), and these couldn't be found; totally my issue!! I stopped through on my return from Perth, and still no glasses - oh well!! Otherwise no issues!
