We were doubled booked at a different hotel and found ourselves stranded last minute looking for accomodation at 5pm. Lyndoch Motel was easy to book, came back on site after hours to check us in and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable even at such late notice. Reception was excellent fuss free The room was very generous, spacious, with quality features and comfortable, the bathroom was also spacious and the shower brilliant hot and soothing. The grounds were well kept and very nice if you wanted a stroll through Total fantastic experience.

This place is perfect hide away

Location is excellent. Lyndoch itself is quaint and the other Barossa Valley towns are close enough for a pleasant drive. The pool area is clean and well maintained. There's a vending machine near the laundry. Parking is at the door. Rooms are decorated in retro design. Toiletries supplied. Microwave. Bar fridge. Good reverse cycle air conditioning. Patio balcony area looking out to the rose gardens and rotunda. Hood walking trails abound. Friendly reception office staff and service staff in general. Good tv reception. Able to access netflix and other streaming channels. Free wifi.

Noisy guests carrying on after 10. As a solo traveller, being put next to family groups. Hearing bathroom flushing, showering and handwashing noises.

Wow! We discovered an Oasis in Barossa Valley! Wonderful hosts, recently renovated, clean, quirky, gorgeous rooms that was so much more than expected! All amenities, walking distance to town, and immaculate grounds! Honestly the warmth of this place is indescribable. We felt so much at home which is just what we needed after such a hustle, bustle holiday. We arrived super early and certainly did not expect our room to be ready, but the process was put in place and after a short trip to town for a coffee we were given access which was so greatly appreciated. Lyndoch Motel has won our heart and will be the only place we return to when visiting the beautiful Barossa Valley.

There's a lot to like about this property. The location is quite sublime- quiet, rural, scenic. The surrounding environment is lovely, especially the rose gardens and walking tracks. My room was spacious, clean and had all the necessary amenities of mini fridge, microwave, table lamps, kettle and Toaster. Crockery and cutlery provided. BBQ facilities available. There's a well maintained pool. The reverse cycle air-conditioning unit seens new and runs quietly. Bathroom toiletries provided. Bonus free wifi which worked really well, and parking by the motel room door. I was most thankful for the 3 seater sofa in my room and the long table/bench. Dishwashing items provided. Very handy! The wallpaper is funky! Android smart tv worked well and I could access netflix and STAN. The office staff is personable, friendly and helpful. The grounds keeper offered assistance too. I recommend Lyndoch Motel. My stay was so nice that I extended it by several more nights. I loved the modern retro vibe.

Only minimal, personal gripes. It's not serviced daily, which I don't mind, but I do like my bed made each day. The taps were dripping and the shower head was in a fixed position and not adjustable. Only soft drinks, water and chips available from the Office. I would have liked a well stocked vending machine on site rather than bringing in my own supplies.

Lovely renovated motel well laid out with everything we needed for our 1 night stay. Comfy bed. Loved the crockery available and the washing up liquid to clean them properly.

Heating struggled, it would have been a nice touch to put it on for us before our arrival Only staff room attendant when I showed him the additional extras that they had missed from the previous guests ....2 lubes, 2 body oils, and a nail polish did feel a bit 🤮 yuck to think of them there but I wasn't up for getting rid of them!

Wonderful view of the beautiful gardens, which were amazing to explore. Haven't seen such well-tended, amazing gardens in a while. Heater in room was nice and warm, while the beds were comfy. Despite no breakfast or dinner, appreciated the box of breakfast goodies in the room.

TV had bad connection, but wasn't used much anyway. A bit anxious with the absence of staff on sight, but key was left underneath mat outside room, and an emergency number available helped ease my mind. And while I would have liked breakfast or dinner, it was nice of them to supply breakfast goodies in room prior to our arrival,

Location was very close to the sporting complex - very handy. Mini kitchen facilities were great - microwave, bar fridge, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery; enabled us to make our own breakfast. The beds were very comfy. The heater was on when we arrived - so nice and greatly appreciated after arriving in the cold rainy windy weather!

The only thing was no shower door/curtain - an open shower. Prefer a door/curtain - less water mess.

It was very clean and quaint, absolutely loved the 60s theme throughout the room, everything was thought of, plus loved the fact there was a microwave, 4 slice toaster along with adequate crockery in the room, seemed they thought of everything.

The fact the rooms were not very quiet, you could hear the room next door plainly, I could also hear the birds very early in the morning, not sure if this was a bad a bad thing though, I think because I wasn't feeling well and wanted to sleep this is the reason I feel like it was annoying.

Lovely clean refurbished room with facilities for doing light meals Toaster, microwave, kettle and plates etc), big areas to take walks and close to town and shops and restaurants. We loved the restaurant on site, Edo Cucina.

The tap water tasted horrible and we had to buy bottled water every day. Also as we walked around the property there was a faint odour of sewage.

This motel was so great! The retro theme made it super cute and feel very fun. Stayed in the double queen bed room and it was incredibly clean and spacious. The bathroom had everything you could need and the shower was great. Parking is right out the front, we stayed on the way from Victoria to the NT so didn’t stay or look around but would definitely stay again. Restaurant on site had great pizza!
