The location is quite good, being just off the main road and at the edge of town, so it is also fairly quiet. The room was very clean, in good condition, and spacious. There were ample supplies of coffee, tea, milk and sugar and there was a parking space included directly in front of the room. The staff were also excellent (we dealt with Craig in particular during our stay). They were extremely helpful in providing some local knowledge and advice with regards to transport.

The only negative I can think of for the stay was that one of the towels in the bathroom did not appear to be fully cleaned properly. It had some very light staining as though stained by coffee or wine, and it should probably have been retired from use.

Comfortable and clean! And great that they provided a microwave oven! The recep staff was great. Theres a change of management and they just brought in new king sized beds; ours was real comfy! Lets see what other future improvements the new management M&G family group does to the rooms.

The only thing was when we checked in, i was asked to provide my credit card for incidentals. However nowadays people hardly carry their actual credit cards anymore, but they offered no flexibility of another option. Luckily my husband had his physical card with him, otherwise i dont know what would have happened. Truthfully, we've been traveling and moving from motel to motel and no other accommodations have asked for a physical credit card... (the new management should look into this. I've written a long review not to point out the negative, but because we enjoyed our stay at Econo Lodge and really hope this part of our experience may be improved upon).

Stayed in a twin (one queen & one single bed) bed room in early November 2024. Quite spacious and it was clean. Loved the funky tiled bathroom. Stayed in one of the rear rooms, so didn't really hear the highway noise. Our rear room also had a carport. Only 5 min drive to town centre including major supermarkets. No smell of fragrances/air fresheners in the room or the bed sheets - much appreciated by me as can lead to migraines. My friend also appreciated this.

Wi-fi was not the best, especially if wanting to watch Netflix. It was a weak signal and dropped out regularly; possibly because we were staying in one of the rooms right at the back of the property and there was stormy weather. The barbecue facility was not operating but that's okay, as we had our own little barbie.

Really comfortable and clean for the price. Great TV in the room. Restaurant was closed but that didn't bother me. Eating utensils and toaster in room were a real bonus. If you're coming here you are looking for bang for buck and this does it perfectly.

Nothing. Really happy. The location is rubbish but again if you are coming here you should have a car. I really have no faults with it.

It was quiet, and the shops were only a few minutes drive away. Great value for money, with large size room containing a table and two chairs. Bed was comfortable. Also has a restaurant with great pizza selection.

Just a few minor attention to detail things, such as the TV turning on but no accessibility to programs and bed head lights being loose. All easily fixable.

We loved that the room was so clean the bed so comfortable the shower hot. We were surprised how lovely and quiet it was even being in the Highway . Both of us had a better sleep than our own bed and will be back as we regularly have to go to Port Augusta We have found a place we felt was completely perfect for us.

Friendly staff, clean large room and exceptional pricing. Bathroom is a little dated but spotlessly clean and everything worked perfectly.. Prices were on point great to see a place offer economy rooms without skimping on quality or service.

Location was great for what we needed after a long day of driving! Between Service stations which was great because we got in so late we could get a bite to eat without going into town. Room was super spacious and staff were able to make sure our late check in was easy and seamless.

Comfy bed, great shower, great size TV. We arrived late after a long day of travelling from the border and were upgraded to exec rooms. Nice and quiet considering next to a main road. Great to have a kettle and toaster in the room.
