We booked on booking.com less than 24 hours before arrival. It was the only room we could find in Port Augusta that would sleep 4 people in separate beds. I was expecting it to be a bit of a dive given the very affordable price but it was clean, spacious and more than adequate. I was pleasantly surprised. Also the staff were absolutely lovely. We chose to stay there again on the way home and I will stay there next time if possible too. (I am a regular visitor to Port Augusta)

The only thing that might annoy some people was the loud exhaust fan in the bathroom which was a bit annoying for the people who were outside in the room. We dealt with it by not turning the bath room light on in the middle of the night so that we didn't annoy the other sleeping people.

We thought this was a great place, very friendly counter staff who accommodated our pet cat. We use all blankets on the bed and clean up with a vacuum so it was the perfect stay for us. They launder crisp bed linen and pillows are also washed. Theres a laundry onsite for guests. booking.com says no pets but just ring them to advise. It's a $20 additional fee and $50 refundable bond. The pub across the road had fabulous food too which was a hotel recommendation. There's a fabulous OTR across the road. We will recommend this motel to adf friends as many travel thru with a pet.

Suggestion to staff that when using bleach products, to air the room afterwards as the smell is quite potent.

This motel was the cleanest and best stocked of any I have stayed at before. The owners were friendly and helpful and the motel area was clean. It was obvious that alot of thought had been put into making the stay as comfortable as possible, with its own kitchen and laundry facilities. The motel sits on the highway but is still very quiet and opposite a Foodland, so very convenient for a one night stay. Thank you.

Great Location. The staff were super efficient and friendly. The facilities were great giving you lots of options for cooking eating outside etc. Lots of valuable information provided eg. food outlets styles of cuisine take away dine in or delivery available.

The only thing I wasn't impressed by was the outside lights under the eaves being on all night throwing light into my room I feel they could be turned off around midnight.

Was informed on arrival of additional charges because i booked with a dog. This should have been revealed and charged when I made the booking. I was also charged a $50 deposit on arrival for having a dog. I requested an inspection on departure and was refunded once i had the room inspected. Thats fair enough but it should be revealed when a booking is made not when u arrive.

perhaps new owners? but place has had a bit of a facelift - security gate manual keys have been replaced with electronic, rooms have been painted new curtains .. just a nice freshen up - as long as parking is available outside the room - certainly my go to in Port Augusta

The room and bathroom were spotless, and the staff was exceptional. They were very supportive and attentive. The location was convenient, close to supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and a scenic lookout point. It's a fantastic budget friendly option for anyone visiting Port Augusta.

They allow dogs. There are good laundry facilities. The lady at reception was welcoming. There is a big grocery store a minute's walk from the hotel.

The motel is on the highway, with road trains passing regularly. Having said that, at night it was pretty quiet and we were not disturbed by noise from the highway.

The location is excellent with nearby food and convenience outlets, hotel restaurant and an OTR not 1 minute away. Staff were most friendly and welcoming. Rooms a surprise, for responsible pet owners. Very comfortable, clean and well maintained.

Shower pressure could have been better, but the water was hot, and sure that this will improve.
