Tuesday nights bar lady, and kitchen girl and Wednesday cleaner lady all nice

I was allocated room 3. I had told the bar lady last stay that the lock was not working internally, and she kindly guided me to another room. On this occasion however, on Monday night, I was given the same room, and I told the bargirl downstairs that the door lock was still broken internally and I'd notified them over a month ago. Her response was quite rude telling me that there was only one other single room available (room 12) and if I didn't take it, I'd have to upgrade my room. Really, why should I have to upgrade, when I'd made and honoured a booking. Bar lady second night was very nice, however.

The room was small and basic. Perfect for just passing through. I stayed one night as I was booked on the ferry at 8 am. The bathrooms are shared but comfortable. The evening meals in the dining room were good and very popular. The clientele of the pub are quiet and well mannered. I parked my 1969 Lotus in the public car park without concern.

I liked the price. For an active hotel the noise was almost non existent Staff were extremely accomodating and always stopped to say hi and have a bit of a chin wag.

Very little, stairs and lighting. I often found it difficult to see even with lights mainly because they seemed to be late in turning on. I am disabled and had a slight difficulty climbing the stairs

The property was in a great location for me while visiting area. The room was a standard single which is all I required and I didn’t mind having to share shower and toilet facilities. I was lucky I was in room number 12 and someone else was staying directly above, the bar said the music was a bit loud and went on a little long but I was not affected by that.

We didn't have breakfast as we didn't know it was on offer. The room was plenty big enough. It was very quiet and the fact we had the kitchen next to us to make a cuppa when we woke was excellent

The long walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night. It would have been nice to have a chair or two in the room so our clothes didn't have to be on the floor

It was a great Country pub! Great atmosphere, clean rooms, warm beds, and so quiet! The food was excellent, the venue was family friendly, and Renee, Tara and Amanda were fantastic with their customer service and in making people feel welcome. A really great weekend and I’ll be back there again soon!

I think my accomodation - a single one bedroom - was absoulutely perfect and great value for money at that price ! Just a simple low maintenance one bedroom to just to stay the night in. No Bella and whistles - simple and comfortable and clean. I look forward to staying again

No WIFI

The location was perfect as we caught the ferry the next morning. The room was comfortable although we were caught out by the shared bathroom. This was mentioned in the paperwork but we missed it. *grins* The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The toilet and shower facilities were clean.

Well priced and good location, close to everything. If you're looking for a cheap night local, you can't go past this.

Shared bathroom was a little cold to walk to, but they were very clean and well maintained.

The bed in motel was excellent. The staff in the bar extremely friendly. Great meal but we were waiting for a while to get our friends meal. They came out at different times otherwise it was delicious 😋

The distance from the room to the toilet was a bit off at 2am when you have a week bladder.
