A bit off the beaten track in a rustic rural setting - very quiet. Useful if you were interested in fishing. Though I didn't have a meal at the bar, the bar area seemed pretty lively and fun if you like that sort of thing. Room was large (beds and a sideboard only, so pretty basic). Bathroom area had lovely hot showers. Everything very clean. Plenty of parking too.

Stayed two nights - on second night there was a baby in the room next door that cried intermittently throughout the night. Thin walls made for an interrupted sleep.

Wow. This place got us. In the middle of nowhere, this historic paradise offers a perfect peaceful escape. The hotel is well situated, well euiped, with a very nice atmosphere and people working there are amazing, always ready to help and make your stay more comfortable. Rooms are very nice and the bathrooms are in stylish. And the starts at night! 100% recommended.

Rustic and thoroughly charming, in a beautiful, peaceful location between Hobart and Launceston. The redecoration is superb, with clean, comfortable rooms. The owners went above and beyond to care for us, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food at the inn was fabulous and the games room had old-world charm.

The rooms don’t have ensuites, but the bathrooms were clean and close by. The rooms are also not soundproof, so it could be a little noisy.

Beautiful location, close to Lake Leake. Wonderful friendly staff, a gorgeous big cuddly dog and a wood fire. Beers flowing, plenty of hearty food available. Bedrooms were on the small side, but all you need for a night or two stop over. The bathrooms were really clean, well decorated with spacious showers.

Breakfast basic do your own toast or cereal but adequate . cozy little off the track country pub, shared bathrooms, basic bed but comfy, bush setting close to the lake, owners fantastic food amazing ,

Not really anything , was only one double bed left so my friend and i shared it but not a problem

Everything was excellent, had some great laughs with troy behind the bar, legend of a fella. Also had the best scotch fillet steak I've ever had. Unreal .

Leaving.. next time we are staying for a couple nights and use the pub as base camp for another motorcycle weekend away.

Good location in woodland and close to the lake. The room was clean and the bed warm and comfy. Food at the bar was really good - we had pizza and the loaded garlic bread. Good selection of draught beers too. Breakfast was good with cereal, toast & jam tea, coffee etc

Quiet and away from the hubbub. Down to earth and made you feel at home, showed us the run of things then up to us. Any problems only needed to ask. Gus the St Bernard , what a star.

The dull lighting in the dining room made it hard to see, especially for older people like myself with dodgy eyesight.

I liked the atmosphere at the Inn. Staying there for a couple of days was like walking in to a friendly home. Jenna and Luke are very relaxed but hospitable hosts and the location near the lake is country / homely.

The Inn is in original condition overall which means some of the facilities are very basic. This can add to the charm of the place, or be off-putting depending on the eye of the beholder

We arrived very late in the evening, Troy welcomed us into this friendly, fun inn. We had time for a drink and to relax, then shown our rooms. They are small but really comfortable. Loved having breakfast provided and being able to make a cuppa any time.
